It includes Premium Plus and Prestige examples, as well as one image labeled 2014, so the 14 pictures should not be read as views of one identically equipped 2015 SQ5.
What the photo gallery shows
Edmunds lists 14 interior views, spanning both full-cabin compositions and details. The labels include window controls, shifter, climate controls, interior detail, front seats, rear seats, center console, full dashboard, audio console and instrument panel. The gallery is useful for locating a specific area, but its year and trim labels matter when comparing finishes or equipment.
- Seats: Look for the front and rear seating views to inspect the cabin layout and upholstery.
- Driving area: Dashboard, instrument-panel and steering-area views show the SQ5-specific cockpit details.
- Controls and storage: Close-ups cover the shifter, climate and audio controls, center console and window controls.
How to interpret year, trim and equipment differences
The Edmunds gallery includes Premium Plus and Prestige examples, and one photo is labeled 2014. A visible difference in a photo does not, by itself, establish which trim or option caused it; rely on the image caption rather than inferring a package from a finish.
A period Audi of America brochure, revised July 2014, identifies leather/Alcantara sport seats as standard on the 2015 SQ5 and lists Fine Nappa interior and comfort packages as available options. Its annotated interior also calls out a multifunction flat-bottom steering wheel with alu-optic shift paddles and contrast stitching, a gray SQ5 instrument face with white needles, a leather-wrapped/aluminum SQ5 shift knob, and aluminum pedal inserts. Period description of the SQ5 cabin
Audi Japan’s October 8, 2013 launch description characterized the Japanese-market SQ5 interior as predominantly black, with Alcantara-and-leather sport seats, SQ5 badges on the instrument panel and steering wheel, and matte brushed-aluminum decorative panels. Audi Japan described it as: 「インテリアは黒を基調としたカラーコーディネイトでまとめられています。」 A close English translation is “The interior is coordinated around a predominantly black color scheme.” This is useful period context, not proof that every regional 2015 SQ5 had the same specification.
