Both pair a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six with all-wheel drive and a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. Porsche’s published figures give the Turbo a 3.2-second 0–60 mph time and 196 mph top track speed; the Turbo S is listed at 2.9 seconds and 198 mph.

What changes between the Turbo and Turbo S?
More power and stronger acceleration
The Turbo S adds 40 hp and 29 lb-ft over the Turbo, and Porsche lists it as 0.3 seconds quicker from 0–60 mph and 2 mph faster at top track speed. These are factory comparisons; real-world results depend on conditions and measurement method.

Wider wheels, same listed tire sizes
The Turbo S has wider wheels at both ends, although Porsche lists the same tire dimensions for both trims: 245/35 ZR20 front and 305/30 ZR20 rear. Those dimensions alone do not confirm replacement-tire fitment. Check the car’s wheel configuration, tire load and speed ratings, and vehicle-specific compatibility before ordering.
Turbo S-specific details
Porsche’s model-history account identifies Turbo S styling and cabin distinctions including front airblades, black-chrome tailpipes, and a two-tone black-and-red leather interior. Equipment can vary by market and individual car, so verify features against the specific vehicle rather than assuming every example has the same specification. Porsche describes the 991-generation Turbo S as spanning 2013–2016; the generation introduced rear-axle steering and active aerodynamic elements.
