For 2012 Toyota Prius cabin photos, start with Toyota’s official 2012 Prius press kit and its Photo Album, then browse Edmunds’ 2012 Toyota Prius Interior Pictures gallery. The images may show different grades, optional equipment, or markets, so compare the details rather than assuming every cabin should look identical.
Where to find 2012 Prius interior pictures
- Toyota press kit: Toyota’s 2012 Prius press-kit page links to a Photo Album and broader Prius photo collections. It is the manufacturer-origin starting point for official images.
- Edmunds gallery: The 2012 Toyota Prius Interior Pictures page is a useful independent gallery. Its indexed image caption identifies a 2012 Prius Five four-door hatchback interior.
Gallery contents and individual image availability can change. Check captions and visible equipment when identifying a particular cabin.
What Toyota says the 2012 cabin looks like
In its 2011 announcement for the U.S. 2012 Prius, Toyota described the center cluster as flowing from the instrument panel into the console. The same description calls out fin-style air vents, silver accents, and contoured front seats intended to maximize rear-seat legroom. Toyota also identified ecological plastic in selected areas, including seat-cushion foam and trim components. These are Toyota’s design descriptions, not independent findings about comfort or material quality.
Why 2012 Prius interiors can look different
U.S. grades and equipment
Trim and options affect what appears in photos. Toyota’s U.S. model-year announcement says the Prius Four had SofTex-trimmed seats and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. It also describes different standard audio and infotainment systems by grade; higher-grade configurations could add navigation/Entune or JBL audio, while optional packages could add display equipment. A visible feature may therefore distinguish a grade or option package rather than indicate a mislabeled image.

U.S. and UK market descriptions
Toyota UK described its 2012-market refresh as including new front seats, upholstery, and soft-touch surfaces, along with darker dashboard materials and silver inserts on the center console and vents. That description concerns the UK market and should not be treated as a U.S. specification list.
Standard Prius and Prius Plug-in Hybrid
The Prius Plug-in Hybrid is a separate variant, not simply another standard Prius grade. Toyota’s plug-in announcement describes variant-specific equipment and cautions that options shown are not available on every grade. Keep plug-in images identified as such when the source labels them.

How to compare two cabin photo sets
- Check the market and grade. Look for a caption identifying the country and trim, such as the Edmunds caption identifying a Prius Five.
- Confirm the variant. Separate standard Prius photos from Prius Plug-in Hybrid photos.
- Compare visible equipment. Seat material and adjustment controls, audio or navigation displays, and other console equipment can vary with grade and options.
- Use captions alongside appearance. An image can show an authentic 2012 Prius interior while differing from another image because of market, grade, or equipment.
