Every collection used the same 3.6-liter V6 and six-speed automatic, with front-wheel drive standard; advanced all-wheel drive was an option on Luxury, Performance, and Premium. The main differences are equipment and available options, so a collection name alone does not confirm what is installed on a used SRX.

What separates the four SRX collections?
The brochure presents the collections as progressively equipped versions of the same basic powertrain. It also distinguishes standard equipment from optional equipment; not every vehicle bearing a collection badge necessarily has every feature associated with that level.
Standard
The Standard collection has the 3.6-liter V6, six-speed automatic, front-wheel drive, 18-inch painted seven-spoke wheels, and foundational safety and chassis equipment. The brochure does not list advanced all-wheel drive as an option for Standard.

How to verify equipment on a used 2012 SRX
Trim or collection labels identify an equipment level, not a complete build sheet. Because all-wheel drive, suspension features, navigation, rear entertainment, and other technology or convenience equipment can depend on options or packages, verify the specific vehicle before relying on a feature being present.
Quick Recap
- Check the original window sticker or VIN-specific equipment information for factory-installed options.
- Inspect the vehicle to confirm that the listed equipment is still present and working.
- For towing, confirm the actual vehicle configuration and consult its applicable instructions rather than relying only on the collection name or brochure package figure.
