Service manual
The service-manual preview identifies the relevant XVS13 family and describes factory repair procedures primarily for Yamaha dealers and qualified mechanics. Spark plug and OEM replacement parts
Spark plug
The covered manual listing specifies an NGK LMAR7A-9 spark plug. Confirm the model designation and fitment before purchasing, especially if the motorcycle is a different XVS13 variant or has been modified.
Yamaha parts diagrams
Use Yamaha’s catalog to find the diagram and part number for the exact model code, then check current availability with a dealer or seller. Inventory is item-specific: Yamaha’s 27D1 catalog page marks the tank assembly as not sold online and directs shoppers to a dealer for current stock, while the California-variant page lists a graphic set as out of stock. Routine checks, repairs and accessories
Use the correct owner’s manual for routine inspection and maintenance instructions. The listed drive-belt slack of 5.0–7.0 mm is tied to the covered manual; it is not a substitute for following the full specified measurement procedure. What Yamaha’s 2011 report says about the Stryker
Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.’s 2011 annual report, published in 2012, said the company planned to strengthen sales of the “Stryker (1,300cc)” in the cruiser category. It gives no Stryker-specific sales total. The report’s figure of 64 thousand units, up 20.8%, refers to Yamaha Motor North America unit sales—not sales of the Stryker.
