The 10 companies deeply invested in hydrogen fuel cell systems are Toyota, Hyundai Motor Group/HTWO, Honda, Ballard Power Systems, Plug Power, Bloom Energy, Cummins/Accelera, FuelCell Energy, PowerCell Group, and Bosch. Their businesses span vehicle stacks, trucks, buses, stationary and backup power, electrolyzers, hydrogen infrastructure, and marine systems—not one identical market or investment case.

For a cars reader, the key distinction is between automakers developing fuel-cell vehicles and suppliers building the wider system around them. Toyota, Hyundai and Honda are extending fuel cells beyond passenger cars, while specialist companies are targeting buses, trucks, forklifts, stationary electricity, data-center backup power and ships. Commercial announcements, orders and factory plans are meaningful evidence, but hydrogen availability, incentives, demand and production costs can change quickly.

Key takeaways

  • Hydrogen fuel-cell investment covers vehicle stacks and engines, stationary electricity, backup power, electrolyzers, hydrogen production and dispensing, and marine systems.
  • Toyota’s third-generation fuel-cell system is planned for commercial-sector expansion in Japan, Europe, North America and China from 2026 at the earliest.
  • According to Hyundai Motor Company’s October 30, 2025 announcement, Hyundai plans to invest KRW 930 billion in a Ulsan facility designed for annual production of 30,000 fuel-cell units plus PEM electrolyzers.
  • According to Ballard Power Systems’ March 12, 2026 results release, Ballard generated $99.4 million in 2025 revenue and delivered nearly 800 engines, although the company still describes the hydrogen-fuel-cell market as early-stage.
  • According to PowerCell Group’s June 25, 2026 announcement, PowerCell won a 4 MW, approximately SEK 50 million order for two liquid-hydrogen-powered cargo ships, with deliveries scheduled through 2028.
  • A fuel cell produces electricity electrochemically, but hydrogen is not automatically zero-carbon because production, compression, transport and storage determine much of its lifecycle impact.

What does hydrogen fuel-cell investment actually cover?

Hydrogen fuel-cell investment is not one market: some companies build fuel-cell stacks or engines, some integrate complete vehicles, and others sell stationary generators, electrolyzers, hydrogen-handling equipment or marine power systems.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

A fuel cell converts hydrogen and oxygen into electricity through an electrochemical reaction. The point-of-use reaction can produce electricity and water without combustion, but the climate result depends on how the hydrogen is made and then compressed, transported and stored. A hydrogen vehicle or generator therefore should not be treated as automatically zero-emission across its entire supply chain.

How should you compare hydrogen fuel-cell companies?

The most useful comparison uses technology, end market, commercial evidence, scale, vertical integration and execution risk rather than treating every hydrogen company as interchangeable.

Comparison axis Question to ask Why it matters
Technology Is the company using PEM, solid oxide, carbonate or another architecture? Different architectures target different operating environments and should not be judged by the same performance criteria.
End market Is the system intended for cars, trucks, buses, forklifts, ships, data centers or stationary power? A company can have strong evidence in one application without being competitive in another.
Commercial evidence Has the company delivered engines, received a named order, validated a system, opened production or only announced a plan? A planned factory and an operating commercial system represent different levels of execution.
Scale What has been invested, produced or ordered? R&D spending, gigawatts produced, annual capacity, megawatts ordered and contract value provide different forms of scale evidence.
Vertical integration Does the company supply only the fuel-cell module or also electrolyzers, hydrogen, storage, dispensing and service? Integrated offerings can address more of the customer’s project but also create more execution responsibilities.
Execution risk Can the company secure hydrogen, customers, incentives, financing and affordable manufacturing? Fuel-cell economics depend on the entire hydrogen system, not only on stack performance.

Which companies show real commercial activity?

Commercial activity is visible in several forms across this group, but no single company has the strongest evidence in every category. Ballard has disclosed cumulative product output and current engine deliveries; PowerCell has a defined marine order; Plug Power reports orders across an integrated portfolio; Toyota and Honda have operating or planned vehicle programs; and Hyundai has announced a large production facility.

Evidence type Examples from the dossier What the evidence does not prove
Delivered products and current revenue Ballard says it has produced more than 1.2 GW of PEM fuel-cell products; Ballard reported $99.4 million in 2025 revenue and nearly 800 engines delivered. It does not prove that fuel-cell demand has reached mature mass-market scale.
Named commercial order PowerCell announced a 4 MW order worth approximately SEK 50 million for two cargo ships, with deliveries through 2028. One large order does not establish a broad shipping market or eliminate project risk.
Integrated product portfolio Plug Power’s 2025 filing describes GenDrive, GenSure, GenFuel, GenCare and GenEco products and reports $724.1 million of orders as of December 31, 2025. Portfolio breadth does not by itself show profitability or uniform demand across all products.
Manufacturing investment Hyundai announced a KRW 930 billion Ulsan investment and planned annual capacity of 30,000 fuel-cell units. Planned capacity is not the same as completed production or utilization.
System validation or demonstration Ballard and Vertiv validated a 400 kW hydrogen backup system scalable to 1 MW; FuelCell Energy installed a solid-oxide electrolysis demonstration at Idaho National Laboratory in January 2025. Validation and demonstration are important steps, but they are not the same as widespread commercial deployment.

10 companies deeply invested in hydrogen fuel cell systems

Why does Toyota stand out?

Toyota stands out for the breadth of its hydrogen strategy: the company is connecting fuel-cell vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, generators, fueling infrastructure and partnerships rather than limiting the technology to passenger cars.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Toyota announced a third-generation fuel-cell system in February 2025 for commercial-sector needs. Toyota said the system was intended for expansion into heavy-duty commercial vehicles and markets including Japan, Europe, North America and China from 2026 at the earliest. The company’s February 2025 third-generation fuel-cell announcement is the relevant source for that timetable.

In April 2025, Toyota described hydrogen-powered Class 8 trucks, a new fueling station at its North American Parts Center California campus, further vertical integration and the North American debut of its Gen 3 fuel-cell system. Toyota’s approach matters because a fuel-cell vehicle strategy is constrained by where drivers can obtain hydrogen.

According to Toyota Motor North America’s December 12, 2025 announcement, FirstElement Fuel had 92 retail fueling positions across 38 California locations when Toyota announced its strategic investment. That investment ties Toyota’s vehicle plans directly to infrastructure expansion, as described in Toyota’s FirstElement Fuel announcement.

“Hydrogen as a fuel – and especially fuel cells – offer benefits that can make a positive change, and we are invested in their long-term success.”
Jordan Choby, Group Vice President of Powertrain Engineering, Toyota, 2025, in Toyota’s hydrogen fleet and infrastructure announcement

What is Hyundai Motor Group investing in through HTWO?

Hyundai Motor Group’s HTWO strategy is centered on manufacturing scale and a platform that can serve vehicles, machinery, marine applications and hydrogen production.

According to Hyundai Motor Company’s October 30, 2025 announcement, Hyundai broke ground on a new Ulsan hydrogen fuel-cell facility backed by a KRW 930 billion investment. The facility is scheduled for completion in 2027 and is designed for annual production of 30,000 fuel-cell units plus PEM electrolyzers. The company’s Ulsan facility announcement identifies the timetable, investment and planned capacity.

The planned output is intended to support passenger vehicles, commercial trucks and buses, construction equipment and marine vessels. That range makes Hyundai one of the clearest examples in this list of an automaker treating fuel cells as a platform technology rather than as a single passenger-car product.

The important qualification is that the figures describe a planned facility. Planned annual capacity demonstrates capital commitment and intended scale, but it does not yet establish how quickly the plant will reach production or how efficiently the output will be sold.

  • It operates by converting the chemical energy of hydrogen into electrical energy, with water and heat as the only byproducts.
  • Constructed with high-quality materials, this proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) is designed for educational purposes, DIY projects, and as a teaching aid for renewable energy concepts.
  • Its compact size and low power rating make it an ideal introduction to fuel cell technology.

How is Honda broadening its fuel-cell program?

Honda is broadening a vehicle-centered fuel-cell program into commercial vehicles, stationary power and construction machinery while continuing to produce a second-generation system for the 2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV.

Honda’s second-generation fuel-cell system is produced at Fuel Cell System Manufacturing, a joint venture established with General Motors. Honda’s 2025 corporate material identifies four target domains: fuel-cell vehicles, commercial vehicles, stationary power stations and construction machinery. Honda says it has pursued hydrogen technologies and fuel-cell vehicles for more than 30 years; the 2025 Honda corporate disclosure describes the manufacturing and application strategy.

According to Honda’s 2025 corporate disclosure, the Brownstown, Michigan fuel-cell manufacturing plant represented an $85 million investment and listed projected annual capacity of 40 GWh. Honda’s current evidence is therefore more substantial than a research-only program, but the broader commercial opportunity still depends on vehicle demand, stationary customers and hydrogen availability.

Where does Ballard have the clearest specialist evidence?

Ballard Power Systems is one of the clearest pure specialist suppliers in the group, with a PEM portfolio for buses, rail, marine, material handling, stationary power and backup power.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Ballard says it has invested more than $1.5 billion in fuel-cell research and development and has produced more than 1.2 GW of PEM fuel-cell products. Ballard’s company profile supplies those cumulative figures and lists the markets served.

Ballard and Vertiv also developed and validated a hydrogen-powered data-center backup system integrating two 200 kW FCwave modules. The architecture is scalable to 1 MW, according to Ballard’s validation report on the Vertiv backup-power system. This creates a credible category for hydrogen backup power for data centers, although the system is enterprise infrastructure rather than a consumer generator.

According to Ballard’s March 12, 2026 full-year results release, Ballard reported $99.4 million in 2025 revenue, up 43% year over year, and nearly 800 engines delivered during 2025. The same release described the hydrogen-fuel-cell market as early-stage and said Ballard discontinued its planned Texas gigafactory expansion. Ballard therefore combines real product and order evidence with a clear warning that technology commitment does not guarantee smooth manufacturing expansion.

What does Plug Power’s vertical integration include?

Plug Power is pursuing one of the broadest integrated hydrogen ecosystems in the group, combining fuel cells, hydrogen production, storage, dispensing and service.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Plug Power’s 2025 Form 10-K identifies GenDrive hydrogen-fueled PEM systems for forklifts and industrial vehicles, GenSure stationary PEM systems, GenFuel hydrogen production, storage and dispensing products, GenCare service, and GenEco electrolyzers. The filing also describes orders involving fuel cells, hydrogen installations, maintenance, electrolyzers, liquefiers, trailers and fuel deliveries; see Plug Power’s 2025 Form 10-K.

According to Plug Power’s 2025 annual filing, the company reported $724.1 million of orders as of December 31, 2025. Plug is therefore relevant to industrial mobility and hydrogen infrastructure, but its wide product scope also means that its execution depends on many linked parts of the hydrogen supply chain.

Why is Bloom Energy different from vehicle-focused companies?

Bloom Energy is fundamentally a stationary-power and electrolyzer technology company in this comparison, not a passenger-car fuel-cell manufacturer.

Bloom uses solid-oxide fuel-cell technology for distributed electricity generation, industrial users and data-center-style loads. In an August 5, 2024 announcement, Bloom reported approximately 60% electrical efficiency on its solid-oxide fuel-cell platform using 100% hydrogen and potential high-temperature combined heat-and-power efficiency of 90%. Those are company-announced platform figures, not an independent cross-company benchmark; the source is Bloom Energy’s hydrogen solid-oxide announcement.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Bloom should be compared on stationary efficiency, heat utilization, fuel flexibility and system integration rather than car range, vehicle weight or refueling time. The company’s value proposition is closer to on-site power and industrial energy management than to a hydrogen sedan.

What does Cummins and Accelera reveal about execution risk?

Cummins combines established commercial-vehicle engineering with hydrogen and electric development through its Accelera business, but Cummins’ reporting also provides one of the clearest warnings about hydrogen-market volatility.

In May 2024, Accelera launched next-generation hydrogen fuel-cell engines for commercial vehicles alongside batteries and e-axles. The launch is described in Cummins’ Accelera commercial-vehicle announcement.

Cummins’ 2025 annual reporting described rapidly deteriorating conditions in electrolyzer and overall hydrogen markets, uncertainty caused by reduced government incentives, and restructuring and inventory actions in Accelera. According to Cummins’ 2026 annual report, those actions included a $30 million excess and obsolete inventory write-down. The evidence makes Cummins important not only for its technology but also for showing how policy, demand and inventory risk can affect a large industrial company.

What is FuelCell Energy building?

FuelCell Energy designs, manufactures, installs, operates and maintains megawatt-scale stationary fuel-cell systems, while also developing solid-oxide electrolysis for distributed hydrogen production.

FuelCell Energy’s carbonate platform serves utilities, industrial users and municipalities. Its 2025 Form 10-K states that a solid-oxide electrolysis demonstration was installed at Idaho National Laboratory in January 2025 and was being tested by FuelCell Energy and INL. The company was seeking partners to advance commercialization and deployment; the relevant FuelCell Energy 2025 Form 10-K also describes stationary projects and the electrolysis program.

FuelCell Energy’s recent strategy includes a difficult transition: the company reported that some solid-oxide power projects were stopped or restructured while it focused on solid-oxide electrolysis. That makes commercial hydrogen production a relevant future B2B category, but the company’s own filing shows that deployment and project execution remain active issues.

“We believe FuelCell Energy’s solutions are built for this moment.”
Jason Few, President and CEO, FuelCell Energy, 2026, in FuelCell Energy’s 2025 annual-report release

Why is PowerCell relevant to shipping?

PowerCell Group is a specialist PEM fuel-cell-system supplier with a particularly clear maritime focus.

According to PowerCell Group’s June 25, 2026 announcement, the company secured a 4 MW contract valued at approximately SEK 50 million for fuel-cell systems serving two liquid-hydrogen-powered cargo ships. The order uses PowerCell’s Marine System 225 platform, includes a planned long-term service agreement and has deliveries scheduled through 2028. The details appear in PowerCell’s marine order announcement.

  • 1. Electrical part: motor with wind shoulder, ammeter, voltmeter.
  • 2. Ammonia fuel cell.Hydrogen's electrons travel from the anode to the cathode through an external circuit, generating an electric current. At the cathode, the electrons, protons, and oxygen in the air combine to produce water, which is the main by-product of the fuel cell.
  • 3. PEM (proton exchange) water electrolyzer.Gaseous hydrogen is sent to the anode of the membrane, and air is sent to the cathode. The hydrogen atoms are stripped of electrons on the anode side, and the positively charged protons pass through the membrane to reach the cathode. In order for this reaction to occur, a platinum catalyst must be used.
  • 4. The two proton exchange membrane electrodes in the organic base and the presenter are 35mm*35mm. Experimental steps. Add deionized water to the water level in the PEM water electrolyzer. The amount of water should not be too much to prevent water from flowing into the battery. After adding water, connect the hydrogen gas outlet on the water electrolyzer to the hydrogen gas inlet on the electrical energy with a gas pipe.
  • 5.Then connect the 6V-12V DC power supply to the positive and negative wiring of the water electrolyzer part, and connect the transportation line of the electrical part to the electric energy after 2-3 minutes, the small motor starts to work, and the current is displayed on the current and voltmeter. Positive value.

The order gives PowerCell unusually concrete evidence of a multi-megawatt application with a defined customer use case, platform and delivery schedule. It also illustrates why marine hydrogen fuel-cell systems are a distinct opportunity rather than simply a larger version of a passenger-car program.

What is Bosch’s role in hydrogen fuel cells?

Bosch is a diversified automotive and industrial supplier whose fuel-cell significance comes from system integration and industrialization rather than from being a pure-play fuel-cell company.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Bosch says its team received Germany’s 2025 German Future Prize for a production-ready mobile fuel-cell power module. The module converts hydrogen and oxygen into electricity and is intended to support long-distance heavy-duty mobility. Bosch’s annual-report milestones page describes the award and the mobile module.

Bosch belongs in this list because a production-oriented module developed inside a major automotive and industrial supplier could be integrated into heavy-duty vehicles and equipment through existing engineering and manufacturing relationships. The supplied evidence does not make Bosch directly comparable with Ballard, PowerCell or FuelCell Energy as a specialist supplier.

Which companies matter most for cars, trucks and buses?

Toyota, Hyundai and Honda are the most directly relevant automakers for passenger-car fuel-cell programs, while Toyota, Hyundai, Ballard, Cummins and Bosch have stronger evidence in heavy-duty road applications.

Application Most relevant companies Evidence in the dossier
Passenger fuel-cell cars Toyota, Hyundai and Honda Toyota is developing a Gen 3 system; Hyundai supports passenger vehicles in its planned Ulsan platform; Honda’s second-generation system powers the 2025 CR-V e:FCEV.
Heavy-duty trucks Toyota, Hyundai, Cummins/Accelera and Bosch Toyota announced hydrogen-powered Class 8 trucks; Hyundai’s facility is intended to support commercial trucks; Accelera launched hydrogen fuel-cell engines; Bosch developed a mobile heavy-duty power module.
Buses and commercial fleets Hyundai, Ballard, Honda and Toyota Hyundai’s planned facility includes commercial buses; Ballard lists buses among its markets; Honda identifies commercial vehicles; Toyota is expanding its commercial-sector fuel-cell system.
Forklifts and industrial vehicles Plug Power Plug’s GenDrive portfolio is designed for forklifts and other industrial vehicles.
Ships PowerCell, Hyundai and Ballard PowerCell has a 4 MW cargo-ship order; Hyundai’s planned production scope includes marine vessels; Ballard lists marine applications.

For car buyers, the central practical question is not only whether a vehicle has a fuel-cell stack. The question is whether hydrogen can be supplied reliably in the region where the vehicle will be used. Toyota’s investment in FirstElement Fuel shows why automakers are also investing in fueling infrastructure.

Are these the best hydrogen fuel-cell stocks?

No universal ranking follows from this research, and the list should not be treated as investment advice. Several names are diversified automakers or industrial companies with hydrogen divisions, while Ballard, Plug Power, Bloom Energy, FuelCell Energy and PowerCell provide more direct specialist exposure.

Company type Companies How to interpret the exposure
Diversified automakers Toyota, Hyundai Motor Group and Honda Hydrogen is part of broader vehicle, powertrain and manufacturing strategies.
Diversified industrial or automotive suppliers Cummins/Accelera and Bosch Fuel-cell development benefits from existing commercial-vehicle or industrial capabilities but is not the whole corporate business.
Specialist fuel-cell and hydrogen suppliers Ballard, Plug Power, Bloom Energy, FuelCell Energy and PowerCell Hydrogen and fuel-cell systems are more central to the business, but specialist companies can be more exposed to order timing, project finance, incentives and market downturns.

A serious stock comparison would require current financial statements, cash needs, backlog quality, dilution, valuation, customer concentration, policy exposure and the economics of each target market. The supplied research does not provide a comparable market-capitalization or valuation analysis, so naming a single best stock would overstate what the evidence supports.

What are the main risks across hydrogen fuel-cell companies?

The main risks are infrastructure, hydrogen supply, policy support, manufacturing scale, customer demand and the difference between a validated system and a profitable deployment.

Risk Why it matters Evidence from the companies
Fueling and hydrogen availability Vehicles and equipment need dependable hydrogen production, storage and dispensing. Toyota’s investment in FirstElement Fuel links vehicle strategy to a California fueling network; Plug Power sells production, storage and dispensing products.
Demand and incentives Reduced incentives or weak orders can affect factories, inventories and project economics. Cummins described deteriorating hydrogen and electrolyzer conditions and Accelera restructuring; its 2026 annual report recorded a $30 million inventory write-down.
Manufacturing execution Announced capacity may take years to complete and fill. Hyundai’s KRW 930 billion facility is scheduled for completion in 2027; Ballard discontinued its planned Texas gigafactory expansion.
Project and technology transition Stationary systems and electrolysis projects can require partners, testing and restructuring. FuelCell Energy installed a solid-oxide electrolysis demonstration at INL, sought commercialization partners and reported that some solid-oxide power projects were stopped or restructured.
Lifecycle emissions Point-of-use water and electrochemical generation do not describe the emissions from making and moving hydrogen. Every company comparison should examine the hydrogen supply pathway rather than assuming that the word hydrogen means zero-carbon energy.

Can a consumer buy a fuel-cell system like the companies use?

For a general reader, a hydrogen fuel cell educational kit is a more honest physical-product recommendation than an industrial generator, vehicle stack or hydrogen-conversion gadget.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Horizon Educational describes hydrogen-fuel-cell model cars, wind-to-hydrogen kits, solar demonstration kits and fuel-cell stacks for STEM education. A documented renewable-energy science kit includes a wind turbine, solar panel, electrolyzer, PEM fuel cell, hydrogen storage system and experiment manuals. A kit can demonstrate electrolysis, hydrogen storage and electricity generation, but it does not reproduce the pressure systems, controls, safety requirements, output or engineering scale of the Toyota, Ballard, Bloom, Plug Power or other industrial systems discussed here. Manufacturer information is available from Horizon Educational.

Where are the future B2B opportunities?

The strongest category-level opportunities are infrastructure and industrial systems rather than ordinary consumer affiliate products.

  • Hydrogen backup power for data centers: Ballard and Vertiv validated a 400 kW architecture scalable to 1 MW, creating a potential critical-infrastructure partnership category.
  • Hydrogen fueling infrastructure: Toyota’s FirstElement Fuel investment and Plug Power’s production, storage and dispensing portfolio show why fueling is a separate business from making a vehicle stack.
  • Commercial hydrogen production: Hyundai’s planned facility includes PEM electrolyzers, while FuelCell Energy is testing solid-oxide electrolysis at INL.
  • Marine hydrogen fuel-cell systems: PowerCell’s 4 MW cargo-ship order provides concrete evidence for a specialist maritime market and related integration services.

These are enterprise opportunities, not consumer products. Program availability, referral arrangements and current commercial terms were not verified in the supplied research.

What is the practical verdict?

The defensible conclusion is not that ten identical hydrogen stocks are winning. Toyota and Hyundai show automaker-scale commitment; Honda is extending an operating vehicle platform into broader applications; Ballard, Plug Power, FuelCell Energy, Bloom Energy and PowerCell provide specialist technology and deployment evidence; Cummins shows both commercial-vehicle capability and market risk; and Bosch illustrates industrial fuel-cell integration. The right comparison is application, technology, evidence, scale and execution risk.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these ten companies all pure-play hydrogen fuel-cell stocks?

No. Toyota, Hyundai, Honda, Cummins and Bosch are diversified companies or divisions with hydrogen programs, while Ballard, Plug Power, Bloom Energy, FuelCell Energy and PowerCell provide more direct specialist exposure. The dossier does not contain enough financial or valuation data to identify a best hydrogen stock.

Does using a hydrogen fuel cell mean zero emissions?

No. A hydrogen fuel cell can produce electricity and water at the point of use, but lifecycle emissions depend on how hydrogen is produced, compressed, transported and stored. Hydrogen should not automatically be described as zero-carbon energy.

Which company is building hydrogen fuel-cell backup power for data centers?

Ballard and Vertiv validated a 400 kW hydrogen fuel-cell backup system for data centers that is scalable to 1 MW. The system is enterprise infrastructure, not a consumer UPS product.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Are Toyota, Hyundai and Honda still investing in hydrogen fuel cells?

Toyota, Hyundai and Honda are the most directly relevant automakers for passenger fuel-cell vehicles. Honda’s second-generation system powers the 2025 CR-V e:FCEV, Toyota is developing a third-generation system for commercial-sector expansion from 2026 at the earliest, and Hyundai is investing in a facility planned to support passenger and commercial vehicles.

What can a consumer buy to learn how hydrogen fuel cells work?

Consumers can find educational kits that demonstrate electrolysis, hydrogen storage and PEM fuel-cell electricity generation. Educational kits do not replicate the output, pressure systems, controls or safety requirements of industrial fuel-cell vehicles, generators or hydrogen stations.

The Bottom Line

Bottom line: Toyota, Hyundai and Honda are the most relevant automakers, Ballard, Plug Power, FuelCell Energy, Bloom Energy and PowerCell are the clearest specialist suppliers, and Cummins and Bosch add industrial scale. None should be judged by hydrogen branding alone: compare the fuel-cell architecture, customer application, infrastructure, commercial evidence and lifecycle hydrogen supply.
