10 Chrysler Cars Stellantis Should Bring Back

Ten discontinued Chrysler models—from the 300 to the Cordoba—that could earn a modern return if they strengthen the brand rather than rely on nostalgia.

These are ten Chrysler nameplates that could give Stellantis a more distinctive modern lineup—not announced revivals or predictions. Each has a recognizable identity, a possible role today, and a case that would need to be stronger than nostalgia alone.

Why these Chrysler cars make the list

Stellantis lists 14 automotive brands, with distinct roles for global, regional, and specialty marques in its June 2026 strategy. Chrysler is a regional brand, while Jeep, Ram, Peugeot, and FIAT are global brands. The company said its plan includes more than 60 new vehicle launches and 50 significant refreshes through 2030; that broad commitment is not a promise to revive any of these models. Stellantis’s June 2026 strategy announcement describes the brand roles and plan.

All ten picks are Chrysler models because Chrysler’s official history provides the strongest documented foundation for this particular list. They are editorial proposals, not claims about demand, profitability, or product plans. The useful test for each is whether a fresh version could express Chrysler’s identity, offer a distinct role, and serve a plausible buyer need without simply duplicating another vehicle.

10 Chrysler cars Stellantis should consider bringing back

1. Chrysler 300: a modern luxury-performance sedan

The 300 is the most direct revival case: its large-sedan identity is unmistakable, and Chrysler says production ended in 2023. The brand describes the car as first introduced in 1955 and reborn in 2005. A successor could restore a distinctive Chrysler sedan with a luxury-and-performance brief, rather than treating the old name as a badge for an unrelated vehicle. Chrysler’s discontinued-vehicle page records the 300’s end of production and historical specifications.

  • Display-Worthy Build – Finished model measures 8 inches long; comes in classic AMT packaging with 109 parts to bring it to life.

The challenge is making the investment work in a market where a sedan revival cannot be justified by heritage alone. A modern 300 would need a clear design identity and reason to exist alongside other Stellantis vehicles.

2. Chrysler Town & Country: an upscale minivan identity

Chrysler’s history identifies Town & Country as an upmarket minivan. A return could give buyers a more explicitly premium choice within the brand’s familiar people-moving format, provided its equipment, design, and customer experience set it apart from the Pacifica and Voyager rather than merely renaming one.

Chrysler’s current U.S. brand page highlights the Pacifica and Voyager, so the central question is whether a separate upscale identity would add meaningful distinction. Chrysler’s current U.S. brand page shows the lineup context.

3. Chrysler PT Cruiser: practical space with unmistakable design

The PT Cruiser’s retro styling made it visually distinctive. A modern interpretation could take the useful idea—a practical vehicle with a shape that does not disappear into traffic—and apply it to contemporary packaging and design. The case is for reviving the design ambition, not assuming that the original’s formula or proportions would work unchanged today.

  • Part of Greenlight's LP Diecast Exclusive
  • Diecast body with rubber wheels, some plastic parts
  • Approximate dimensions: 3in L x 1in W x 1in H

Chrysler’s official history describes the PT Cruiser as retro-styled, supporting its place as a recognizable design experiment rather than as proof of current demand. Chrysler’s official timeline documents the nameplate’s identity.

4. Chrysler LeBaron convertible: a style-led open-air car

A LeBaron convertible could be a niche, image-building Chrysler: a relaxed open-air car whose appeal rests on design and cruising rather than family-hauling utility or track performance. It should be treated as a specialty proposal, not a likely high-volume product.

Chrysler’s timeline says the LeBaron convertible brought the body style back to American drivers and ran for nine years. That history gives the name a clear association, but does not establish that a modern convertible would be commercially viable. The Chrysler timeline describes the convertible’s history.

5. Chrysler 300M: a separate, design-forward sedan proposal

The 300M was a Chrysler sedan documented in the brand’s 1990s-era history. Its potential return should be distinct from the 300: think of it as an opportunity for a sleeker, design-led sedan identity, not a second version of the same large luxury-performance car.

AMT 1957 Chrysler 300 Custom Version 1:25 Scale Model KIt
  • 1:25 scale, skill level 2, paint & glue required
  • 123 Parts
  • Molded in white, clear, red-clear, and some chrome-plated parts
  • 4 Black vinyl tires
  • Built size: 9 inches long

That distinction would have to be legible in size, styling, and purpose. Without it, reviving both names risks confusing buyers rather than giving Chrysler two meaningful sedan choices. Chrysler’s history page lists the 300M among its past models.

6. Chrysler Concorde: a sedan name that needs a new reason to exist

Chrysler’s history links the Concorde to the brand’s 1990s renaissance. A new Concorde could be a modern midsize sedan with a strong visual identity, but the name alone would not make it distinct. The product would need to reinforce Chrysler’s role instead of duplicating another Stellantis offering.

That requirement fits the company’s stated emphasis on differentiated brand roles. A revival is appealing only if the Concorde stands for something specific beyond being another sedan with a heritage badge. Chrysler’s official timeline records the model and its historical context.

7. Chrysler Sebring convertible: open-air grand touring

The Sebring convertible could return as a comfortable, style-conscious open-air car rather than a performance-first machine. That would give the name a possible role separate from the LeBaron: the Sebring as a more contemporary grand-tourer, with the LeBaron reserved for a more overtly heritage-driven niche.

  • 1/24 Scale Diecast Model Car. Approximate size: L-8" x W-2.75" x H-2.5".
  • Color: Beige with Woodie Siding.
  • Original Factory Window Box.

Chrysler’s timeline records the Sebring convertible separately from the coupe. The historical record establishes the body style, not a current affordability case or evidence of buyer demand. The Chrysler timeline documents the convertible and coupe.

8. Chrysler Cordoba: a personal-luxury coupe

The Cordoba has the ingredients for an evocative personal-luxury coupe: a memorable name and formal styling in its 1970s identity. A modern version could be a low-volume design statement aimed at buyers who want a distinctive two-door car, not a mass-market sales bet.

Chrysler calls the Cordoba one of its memorable 1970s vehicles and notes its formal coupe styling. That supports a heritage-based concept, not any claim about the original’s quality or the prospects of a new one. Chrysler’s official history describes the Cordoba.

9. Chrysler Cirrus: a clearly positioned smaller sedan

The Cirrus was a smaller Chrysler sedan in the 1990s. Its return could make sense if the brand wanted a sedan below the 300 with a clear, modern purpose—whether compact or midsize—rather than a generic entry in a crowded category.

  • CLEAR & COMPREHENSIVE INSTRUCTIONS: The included instructions are clear and user-friendly, making the kit accessible to modelers of different skill levels, from beginners to experienced hobbyists.

That is a hypothetical role, not evidence that Stellantis has chosen to re-enter a particular sedan segment. Chrysler would need to define the Cirrus around a recognizable design and buyer use case before the name could do meaningful work. Chrysler’s historical timeline includes the Cirrus.

10. Chrysler 200: a more recent name with a higher bar

The Chrysler 200 is the most recent-feeling pick on this list. Chrysler’s history records its 2011 release and describes a loyal fan base. A comeback could appeal to drivers who want a recognizable Chrysler sedan, but the name would need a sharper reason to return than familiarity alone.

Given the brand’s current U.S. lineup emphasis on minivans, and Stellantis’s stated intent to give brands distinct roles, a revived 200 would need to prove what it adds and where it fits. Chrysler’s timeline records the model’s release and the company’s account of its following.

What would make a revival more than nostalgia?

Each proposal has a different burden of proof. The 300 has the clearest recognizable sedan identity, while the Town & Country has a direct connection to Chrysler’s current minivan territory. The PT Cruiser, Cordoba, and convertibles lean more heavily on distinctive styling or body style. The Concorde, 300M, Cirrus, and 200 would need especially clear positioning to avoid becoming overlapping sedan names.

Stellantis announced in July 2025 that its reestablished SRT division would consolidate performance engineering across Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram. That creates performance-engineering context for a possible enthusiast-oriented vehicle, but it does not confirm a return for the 300 or any other SRT model. The SRT announcement describes the division’s remit.

More broadly, a corporate plan spanning multiple launches and refreshes leaves room for many kinds of products, but a heritage name is not a product plan. A revival would make sense only if it strengthens Chrysler’s identity and fills a role that the existing lineup does not.
