The Zeekr MIX is a five-seat, family-oriented electric vehicle built on SEA-M, a derivative of Zeekr’s Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA). Zeekr unveiled the platform and the MIX at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition on April 25, 2024; the MIX became SEA-M’s first production model and launched in China on October 23, 2024. Its defining idea is a cabin that can be rearranged for passengers to share as a flexible living space.
What are Zeekr MIX and SEA-M?
SEA-M is Zeekr’s derivative of its broader SEA electric-vehicle architecture. At the 2024 Beijing show, the company positioned SEA-M for several kinds of mobility products, including passenger vehicles such as MPVs and robotaxis, as well as logistics vehicles. The MIX was the architecture’s first model.

Zeekr’s platform description emphasizes a flat floor, a high wheelbase-to-length ratio, a capsule-style body, flexible seat placement, a concealed B-pillar structure and an advanced electrical and electronic backbone. These are manufacturer descriptions of the platform, not independent assessments of its performance. Zeekr also said it had invested over 7 billion RMB in SEA-M.
When did the MIX launch, and where is it sold?
Zeekr announced the MIX with SEA-M on April 25, 2024, and said the vehicle launched and entered deliveries in China on October 23, 2024. The cited launch page says the MIX is not marketed in Europe and that its specifications describe China-market vehicles. That statement should not be taken as confirmation of availability or unavailability in every other country; sales status is market-specific and can change.

How does the MIX cabin work?
The MIX’s key distinction is its reconfigurable front cabin. Its front seats rotate through 270 degrees, and a movable center console supports different seating arrangements. Zeekr describes the combinations as “9+N” cabin scenario modes, rather than a fixed set of nine layouts. The company also reports up to 93% in-cabin space utilization; that is a manufacturer-reported figure, not an independently measured result.
Zeekr identifies the MIX as a five-seat, family-oriented vehicle. Sliding doors provide a stated 1.48-metre access opening, while the company lists 1,350 mm of headroom. Those dimensions and the cabin-layout claims are manufacturer specifications.

What are the China-market dimensions and battery specifications?
Zeekr’s 2024 China-market launch specifications list a 4,688 mm body length, a 3,008 mm wheelbase and an 800 V electrical system. The two battery options pair different chemistries and stated CLTC ranges:

For the 76 kWh LFP version, Zeekr claims 5.5C charging and a 10%–80% charge in 10.5 minutes. That is the company’s stated charging time; the cited information does not establish real-world results or charger compatibility in other markets.
What other design and safety details has Zeekr published?
Zeekr lists a turning radius below five metres and says the front wheels can turn more than 50 degrees. Its launch information also gives a 390 mm ground-clearance/step-height figure. These are manufacturer-published specifications.

The company says concealed, high-strength B-pillar structures are integrated into the doors. Its French-language launch page describes 2,000 MPa hot-formed steel and claims strength more than 30% higher than conventional hot-formed steel. Separately, Zeekr’s 2024 SEA-M announcement said vehicles on the architecture would be able to meet global five-star safety standards and qualify for IIHS Top Safety Pick. These remain company claims: the cited sources do not provide an independent MIX crash-test result or rating.

The rotating seats and movable console make the cabin the vehicle’s main point of differentiation: instead of treating the front row only as a forward-facing driving space, Zeekr presents it as an area that can be reconfigured when parked or when passengers are sharing the cabin. The sliding doors and wide stated access opening support easier entry into that space. Whether the layout is useful in daily family use depends on needs such as child-seat placement, cargo space with seats configured, and local safety requirements; the cited specifications do not provide those comparisons.
