New Atlas reported in February 2022 that preorders had opened, with a starting price of about €14,500 (US$16,300). Those order and delivery details are historical: the report does not establish whether the Z-Triton is available today.
What is the Z-Triton 2.0?
Designed by Zeltini, the Z-Triton combines three functions: land travel on a tricycle, travel on water as a small boat, and an enclosed space for resting or shelter. New Atlas described the 2.0 as a production-oriented revision of a prototype unveiled in 2020. The company said the first prototype was functional but needed improvements before mass production.
The reported dimensions are 3.9 m long, 1.45 m wide and 1.72 m high. Its construction includes a steel frame and fiberglass body, as well as polyester made from recycled plastic bottles and 3D-printed bioplastic sections.
How does it travel on land and water?
Land mode
On land, the Z-Triton uses a 1,000 W pedal-assist motor. New Atlas reported rear suspension, an adjustable seat, hydraulic disc brakes and seven gears. The vehicle is pedal-assisted rather than described as a conventional car, so its land-mode equipment is closer to that of a tricycle than a road-going automobile.

Water mode
To switch to water travel, the wheels fold away and stability floats are added. New Atlas reported that the conversion took about five minutes. In boat mode, an integrated 1,150 W motor provides propulsion, with basic lighting and steering controls.
What range and practical limits were reported?
New Atlas relayed Zeltini’s claimed range of more than 50 km on land or more than 20 km on water. These are company claims, not results from an independent range test. The report did not disclose the lithium-ion battery pack’s capacity, so the figures cannot be assessed against a stated battery size or compared directly with independently tested vehicles.

The reported vehicle weight exceeds 200 kg. That mass is a practical consideration if propulsion runs out: it is not equivalent to a lightweight bicycle or small personal watercraft that can be moved easily by hand. The roof has an integrated solar array, but the designers reportedly said it could not charge the batteries on its own.
What is inside the camper?
The cabin was described as having room for two adults to sit or lie down, plus luggage storage. Reported features include a folding table, Bluetooth radio, USB charging ports, GPS and a small space for a plant. The available description establishes a compact shelter, not the dimensions of a full-size camper or detailed sleeping specifications such as mattress size.

What did it cost, and can you still preorder one?
In its February 15, 2022 report, New Atlas said the starting price was roughly €14,500 (US$16,300) and that preorders were open. It reported expected deliveries in Europe in late 2022 and in the United States in 2023. Those delivery windows have passed; that article does not confirm whether deliveries took place, whether orders are accepted now, or what current pricing or specifications might be.
The same 2022 report also mentioned a simplified DIY kit and rentals in Latvia. It does not verify that either is currently available. Anyone considering a purchase, kit or rental should confirm availability, delivery region, final price, support and operating requirements directly with the provider.

How to evaluate the concept
The Z-Triton’s defining trade-off is that one vehicle is meant to cover land transport, water travel and shelter. Its reported conversion time and dual propulsion systems make that idea concrete, while its mass, undisclosed battery capacity and limited solar charging point to questions a buyer would need answered before relying on it for a trip.
