Red Bull says Tsunoda, who was born in Sagamihara, began in Japanese Formula 4 in 2016. He won the Japanese F4 title in 2018, joined the Red Bull Junior Team and Honda Formula Dream Project, then raced in FIA Formula 3 in 2019.
