The watch and the car are different things: YEMA announced the watch in 2023 in connection with Alpine Endurance Team, while Alpine introduced the A470 prototype for its 2017 World Endurance Championship and 24 Hours of Le Mans campaign.
What is the YEMA Rallygraf A470?
It is a mechanical chronograph watch, not a race car. YEMA Japan’s 2023 announcement described the Rallygraf A470 Limited Edition as a collaboration associated with Alpine Endurance Team and limited the edition to 470 watches. The launch release gave a 39 mm case, an ETA Valjoux 7753 movement, a three-year warranty and a suggested retail price of ¥365,000, with shipment planned for October 2023. YEMA’s Japanese product page specifies a 316L stainless-steel case, an automatic ETA 7753 chronograph, 48-hour power reserve, tachymeter bezel, 1.80 mm double-domed sapphire crystal, 100 m water resistance and a leather rally strap. Which Alpine A470 inspired it?
The Alpine A470 is a separate LMP2 endurance prototype. The 24 Hours of Le Mans organizer reported that Alpine presented the car on 28 March 2017 for its WEC and Le Mans campaign. Alpine returned the A470 to WEC LMP2 competition with two cars for the 2023 season, which coincided with the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This later racing context should not be mistaken for the prototype’s 2017 introduction. Alpine’s 2023 WEC announcement
What was the watch’s connection to the team?
YEMA’s Japanese product page says watches from the YEMA × Alpine Endurance Team collection were worn by drivers, mechanics and staff during competition at circuits including Le Mans, Spa-Francorchamps and Monza. The page does not name individual wearers, so it supports a team-level claim rather than a claim about a particular driver wearing the A470 model.

The connection also needs a date boundary. YEMA’s current Time of Heroes page identifies the brand as official timekeeper of the Alpine Cup Series and says the series joins the French FFSA GT Championship from 2026. That is current Alpine-related brand activity, but it does not establish that YEMA remains a Le Mans or WEC partner. YEMA Time of Heroes
Is the Rallygraf A470 still available?
Current stock, price and availability for the A470 are not established by the launch announcement or the cited product information. The ¥365,000 figure is the 2023 Japanese suggested retail price only. For a present-day answer, check YEMA’s official store or contact its support team; do not assume that a marketplace listing or an old launch price reflects an authorized, in-stock watch.

How does it differ from the Alpine Cup Series Rallygraf?
YEMA also lists a separate Rallygraf Alpine Cup Series Limited Edition. It is not another name for the A470 and its specifications should not be attributed to the A470.
