What makes the Cayenne GTS Coupe different?
Porsche describes the GTS formula as sportier tuning for the engine, chassis systems and sport exhaust. In the current U.S. model listing, the GTS Coupe has a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 493 hp and 486 lb-ft, paired with all-wheel drive and an automatic transmission. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test results. Porsche’s Cayenne GTS Coupe page currently presents the 2027 model.
The body style is the Coupe, but the available evidence here does not establish how it compares with other Cayenne versions in cargo room, ride comfort or handling. Nor does it provide independent testing against rival performance SUVs. The case for the GTS is therefore best made from its stated powertrain and chassis equipment, not an unsupported claim that it leads every competitor.
How quick is the GTS Coupe?
Porsche quotes a 0–60-mph time of 4.2 seconds with Sport Chrono and a 171-mph top track speed with summer tires. Both figures are Porsche’s published claims; neither is an independently measured result in the cited material. The conditions matter: the acceleration figure specifies Sport Chrono, while the top-speed figure specifies summer tires.

What is different about the GTS chassis?
Adaptive air suspension and PASM
The GTS-specific setup includes adaptive air suspension with two-chamber air springs, a ride height 10 mm lower than the standard setup, and sportier tuning for Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). Porsche’s 2025 launch announcement also described the GTS suspension as using two-chamber, two-valve technology. These details establish the hardware and tuning intent, but not a quantified improvement in grip, comfort or lap time.
Optional active roll control
Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), an active roll-stabilization system, is available on request according to the current U.S. model page. It is not listed there as standard GTS equipment.

Torque vectoring
Porsche says Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) uses precise brake pressure at the inside rear wheel and an electronically regulated rear differential lock to support cornering and traction when accelerating out of corners. That describes how Porsche says the system works; it is not evidence of a particular measured handling advantage.
What does the Cayenne GTS Coupe cost?
Porsche’s U.S. page lists a $137,100 starting MSRP for the 2027 Cayenne GTS Coupe. The displayed MSRP excludes options, taxes, title, registration, delivery/processing/handling fees, dealer charges and potential tariffs; the dealer sets the actual selling price. Check the current listing and obtain a dealer quote for a vehicle-specific total because model year, equipment and transaction price can change.

For historical context, Porsche announced a $129,500 U.S. MSRP for the 2025 Cayenne GTS Coupe at launch. That is an earlier model-year figure, not the current 2027 starting price. Porsche’s 2025 Cayenne updates and GTS announcement also said the optional Lightweight Sport Package could reduce weight by up to 55 pounds, depending on equipment. That conditional package claim should not be read as the weight of every GTS Coupe.

Porsche lists 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels with staggered tire sizes: 285/45 R21 at the front and 315/40 R21 at the rear. Use those sizes as search terms when checking replacement options, not as a substitute for confirming the fitment on the exact vehicle. Verify the vehicle configuration and required load and speed ratings, and follow local fitment guidance before buying.

What does the interior and equipment story add?
Porsche’s 2025 launch announcement described Race-Tex on interior touchpoints including the roofliner, armrests, door panels and seat centers, plus a heated GT Sport steering wheel and eight-way Sport seats. It also listed Carmine Red and Slate Grey GTS interior packages as options in that launch material. Those are MY2025-era details; confirm equipment and option availability for the specific model year rather than assuming they carry over unchanged.
Is the GTS Coupe “perfectly balanced”?
“Perfectly balanced” is a subjective driving judgment, not a conclusion established by the published specifications. The combination of a twin-turbo V8, all-wheel drive, a lowered adaptive-air-suspension setup and sportier PASM tuning gives the GTS a clear performance focus. Whether its power delivery, ride, steering and handling feel balanced to a particular driver requires a drive in the relevant configuration; the sources cited here do not include independent road impressions or instrumented tests.
