Some Lexus NX 350h owners say they would buy the hybrid again, often pointing to fuel economy, styling and a satisfying ownership experience. Other forum users describe specific frustrations. Those posts are useful for identifying what to ask about before buying, but they are anecdotes—not a representative survey of NX customers.
What NX 350h owners mean by “no regrets”
In a ClubLexus discussion titled “no regrets,” one poster said two people they knew who owned 2023 NX 350h models had experienced no problems after about two and a half years and loved their vehicles. The poster praised styling, fuel economy, dependability and maintenance. This is secondhand reporting about two owners, not a verified reliability statistic or a measure of how most customers feel. Other posts in the same thread show why satisfaction can be personal. One owner said they still regretted the 12-volt system’s charging software algorithm after just under four years with an NX 350h Takumi. Another described an otherwise happy experience while mentioning digital-key help and a soft front suspension. These are individual reports, not proof of a universal defect or a prediction of what another buyer will experience.
Would you buy the NX 350h again?
A separate ClubLexus thread asking “Would you buy the NX350h again?” is mixed: it includes owners expressing no regrets and a participant describing a negative experience after two years. One user also said they moved from a 2022 NX 350h to a 2025 NX 450h+ and were happy with the change. What the 2026 NX 350h offers in the U.S.
Lexus lists the 2026 NX 350h as a 2.5-liter inline-four hybrid with 240 net combined horsepower. The U.S. lineup includes front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD); the manufacturer’s displayed combined fuel-economy estimates vary by grade and drivetrain, with examples of 40 mpg for FWD grades and 39 mpg for AWD grades. Lexus USA’s August 28, 2025 model-year announcement says F SPORT Handling is available on hybrid models and that NX 350h configurations include FWD as well as AWD. FWD or AWD
Consider whether the extra traction of AWD matters for your climate, roads and driving needs. Compare the fuel-economy estimate for the exact drivetrain and grade, rather than assuming every NX 350h has the same rating. The estimates on Lexus’s specifications page are manufacturer figures, not a controlled real-world average.

NX 350h, NX 350 or NX 450h+
The NX 350h is a conventional hybrid. The NX 350 is a turbocharged gasoline model, while the NX 450h+ is a plug-in hybrid with different charging considerations. Do not apply the 450h+’s plug-in characteristics to the 350h; compare the models on Lexus’s specifications page and decide whether you want a conventional hybrid, a gasoline powertrain or a plug-in.
Grade and equipment
Compare the equipment included in the actual grade and drivetrain on the written quote. The model name alone does not tell you which features are present, and Lexus notes lineup changes for 2026. Verify the local-market configuration before making a decision.

Your tolerance for ownership friction
Think about how much fuel use, ride comfort, interface preferences and occasional software or battery-related annoyances matter to you. If a forum post raises a concern—such as the 12-volt charging behavior, digital-key assistance or suspension feel—use it to form a specific question for a dealer or owner. A single post cannot tell you how often the issue occurs or whether it will affect your vehicle.
