The woman singing country music from a Tesla Cybertruck bed is online personality Alessandra Basher. In a March 25, 2025 report, Futurism’s Victor Tangermann described her video praising Elon Musk and his businesses, along with sharply divided reactions to it. The report also noted speculation about AI, but did not establish that AI was used to make the song or performance.
What happens in the Cybertruck video?
Futurism reported that Basher sings from the bed of a Cybertruck in a video almost three minutes long, praising Musk and his businesses. The report characterized the song as country music; its highly emotive headline was an editorial reaction, not a factual description of a measurable response.

Tangermann’s article also says Basher’s husband, Cern Basher, had publicly expressed enthusiasm for Tesla, and that Basher had discussed Musk retweeting her the week before the video report. Those details are background attributed to Futurism’s account.
Why did Alessandra Basher say she made it?
Responding to criticism, Basher said she was enjoying making and performing the song as a way to thank Musk. Futurism quoted her: “I’m just having fun creating and performing a song to say thanks for what he did and is doing for this country and the world.”
