For most buyers, the Signature 1.0 TSI automatic is the best-balanced 2026 Škoda Slavia: it adds the range’s key infotainment and convenience upgrades without paying for the top trims’ comfort features or Monte Carlo styling. Its announced ex-showroom price is ₹14.94 lakh in India. Choose Classic or Classic+ to spend less, Sportline for its 360-degree camera and sportier appearance, or Prestige if you want ventilated powered front seats, rear-seat massage or the 1.5 TSI DSG.

Which Slavia variant makes the most sense for you?

Choose Signature for the best all-round balance

Signature is the sensible default if you want modern infotainment and convenience but do not need the Prestige’s premium comfort features or the 1.5-litre engine. Its 1.0 TSI automatic, at ₹14.94 lakh ex-showroom, is Autocar India’s recommended automatic below ₹15 lakh. The manual Signature costs ₹13.94 lakh. Both add a 20.32 cm driver display, 25.6 cm touchscreen, Google Cloud-powered AI Assistant, connected features, wireless smartphone integration and a rear-view camera.

Choose Classic or Classic+ to keep the price down

Classic is the least expensive configuration, but it is manual-only and has a more basic equipment set. Classic+ is the step up for buyers who want an openable sunroof, R16 alloys, all-LED lighting, rain-sensing wipers and an auto-dimming interior mirror. It is also the first trim available with the 1.0 TSI eight-speed automatic, at ₹12.49 lakh ex-showroom. Autocar India lists cruise control and paddle shifters on the automatic version.

Choose Sportline for the camera and sportier appearance

The official announcement and Autocar India use different wheel descriptions, so confirm the exact wheel and exterior specification on the car being quoted.

Choose Prestige for comfort equipment or the 1.5 TSI DSG

Prestige adds a larger 26.03 cm Virtual Cockpit, 360-degree camera, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, and rear-seat massage. It is the first trim offered with the 1.5 TSI and seven-speed DSG, priced at ₹18.59 lakh ex-showroom. Choose Monte Carlo if its design is worth the premium to you

Monte Carlo retains Prestige equipment and adds distinctive styling: Monte Carlo badging, red stripes, black exterior elements and black alloy wheels. It is offered with the 1.0 TSI automatic or 1.5 TSI DSG, but not a manual. At ₹17.29 lakh for the 1.0 automatic and ₹18.84 lakh for the 1.5 DSG, the premium is primarily a choice about design rather than access to a new comfort-equipment tier.

What equipment do you get at each step?

  • Classic: 1.0 TSI manual, six airbags, automatic climate control, rear defogger, 17.7 cm touchscreen and R15 steel wheels with covers. Škoda says the car has more than 25 active and passive safety features as standard. Autocar India additionally lists wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear parking sensors, ESC and TPMS.
  • Classic+: Adds an openable sunroof, R16 alloys, all-LED lighting, rain-sensing wipers and an auto-dimming interior mirror. The automatic version is listed with cruise control and paddle shifters by Autocar India.
  • Signature: Adds the 20.32 cm driver display, 25.6 cm touchscreen, Google Cloud-powered AI Assistant, connected features, wireless smartphone integration and rear-view camera.
  • Sportline: Adds 360-degree Area View and black styling details to the Signature equipment level. Verify the precise wheel specification for the vehicle you are buying.
  • Prestige: Adds the larger Virtual Cockpit, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats, rear-seat massage and 360-degree camera. It is also the first trim with the 1.5 TSI/7-speed DSG combination.
  • Monte Carlo: Keeps Prestige equipment and adds its own black-and-red design details. It is not offered with a manual transmission.

Should you get the 1.0 TSI or the 1.5 TSI?

Autocar India reports 115 hp and 178 Nm for the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol, paired with a six-speed manual or eight-speed torque-converter automatic. The 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol is reported at 150 hp and 250 Nm, paired with a seven-speed DSG; it also uses cylinder deactivation. The 1.5 is the performance-oriented choice. Do not choose it on an assumption that it will be more economical.

The 6 October 2026 manufacturer announcement describes a four-year/100,000-kilometre warranty, four years of roadside assistance, and four labour-free services up to two years or 30,000 kilometres. It also describes an optional two-year warranty extension, six-year corrosion warranty and three-year paint warranty. Check the purchase documents for the exact terms and eligibility.

How to make the final choice

  1. Set your actual budget. Compare the dealer’s dated, itemized on-road quote with the ex-showroom price; local on-road costs and any dealer offers are not established by the published price schedule.
  2. Decide on transmission and engine. Pick the 1.0 TSI manual or automatic for the relevant Classic through Prestige configurations; choose the 1.5 TSI DSG only if its stronger performance is a priority. Monte Carlo is automatic-only.
  3. Pay for features you will use. Signature is the balanced technology step. Move to Sportline for its 360-degree view and styling, or to Prestige for ventilated powered seats, rear massage or the 1.5 DSG.
  4. Inspect the exact car and paperwork. Ask the dealer to list the variant, engine, transmission, key features, delivery estimate and warranty/service terms in writing. Škoda notes specifications can vary by model and may change.
