Kia calls its 360-degree camera feature Surround View Monitor. It combines views from cameras around the vehicle into an overhead-style image to help with parking and low-speed maneuvering. Kia America’s 2026 and 2027 materials identify the models and configurations below, but availability depends on model year and trim.
Which Kia models offer Surround View Monitor?
These are examples supported by Kia America materials for the model years shown. “Available” at the model level does not mean the feature is included on every trim.

Does the Kia Sportage have a 360-degree camera?
For the 2026 US Sportage, Kia’s brochure names the SX Prestige, X-Line, and X-Pro Prestige trims. For the 2026 Sportage HEV, it names the SX Prestige. That does not establish availability on other Sportage years, trims, or markets, so check the brochure or build sheet for the vehicle you are considering.

What Kia means by “360 camera”
Surround View Monitor is Kia’s name for the feature commonly called a 360-degree camera. Kia describes a synthesized overhead view made from four wide-angle cameras. The image helps show the area around the vehicle for parking and low-speed maneuvering; it is not a direct bird’s-eye photograph and should not be treated as a complete view of everything nearby. How the view modes work
The cited 2026 Kia owner manual describes a top view assembled from four camera inputs. It also describes a 3D view that presents the surroundings from different angles. Those details apply to the manual’s covered vehicle and software, not automatically to every Kia with the feature.

- In the cited manual, 3D view operates only under specified gear and speed conditions and turns off when the vehicle exceeds 6 mph (10 km/h).
- The manual says the 3D view does not display parking guidelines.
Check the owner manual for the exact model and year to confirm available views, activation conditions, and controls.

Kia warns that Surround View Monitor is an aid, not a substitute for driving safely. Its 2026 Carnival Hybrid specifications state: “When engaged, 360° Surround View Monitor is not a substitute for safe driving and may not detect all objects around vehicle. Always drive safely and use caution.” Kia’s Sorento materials likewise caution that the monitor may not display all objects.

Continue checking mirrors and the area around the vehicle, and use caution when maneuvering. Do not assume that a camera image eliminates blind spots or guarantees that an obstacle will be visible.

How to confirm the feature on a Kia
- Match the model year and market. Start with the exact vehicle year and country; feature availability can differ by market and year.
- Check the trim and package. Look up the vehicle’s official specifications or build sheet. A model page that says “available” does not confirm the feature is standard on every trim.
- Look for the exact name. Confirm “Surround View Monitor.” A rear-view camera, parking sensors, and Blind-Spot View Monitor are different features.
- Review the owner manual. If a particular view mode matters to you, check its operating conditions and limitations for that vehicle.
