Honda’s planned Olympic mobility lineup includes upcoming Honda 0 Series vehicles, but LA28 has not named a specific 0 Series model for Games use. What Honda EV is planned for the Olympics?
LA28’s June 2, 2025 announcement names upcoming Honda 0 Series vehicles among the electrified vehicles Honda plans to provide for Games use. It does not identify a particular 0 Series model or say whether a concept shown earlier will be part of the fleet. LA28’s partnership announcement also names Honda as a Founding Partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and Official Automotive Partner of Team USA.
Honda’s planned mobility contribution is broader than cars. LA28 lists Acura RSX vehicles, motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, Motocompacto e-scooters and marine engines, and says Honda and Acura vehicles are planned as official pace vehicles for endurance events. What is the Honda 0 Series?
Honda introduced the 0 Series at CES 2024 as a new global EV program, with a stated plan to begin launches in 2026. The debut comprised two concepts: Saloon and Space-Hub. Those reveals establish the program and its early design direction; they do not establish that either concept is the specific Olympic vehicle or that every planned launch occurred on schedule. Accordingly, “Honda 0 Series vehicles” is the most specific identification supported by LA28’s announcement. A production-model name, final fleet assignment, and model-level specifications for Olympic use are not stated there.
Is the Super-ONE the Olympic EV?
No official connection is established in the cited announcements. The Super-ONE is a separate compact EV based on the N-ONE e:, announced for Japanese-market sales in 2026. Honda’s May 21, 2026 release describes a small production model with wide fenders and tires, five drive modes including BOOST, simulated gear shifts and engine sound. Its stated 274 km (170 miles) WLTC range is Honda’s figure, and the company notes actual range varies with conditions and driving style. Honda says the vehicle appeared as the Super EV Concept at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2025 and that it was exploring global expansion. That development story does not say the Super-ONE is planned for Olympic use. Its playful driving features may fit a “funky” headline, but they are not evidence of an LA28 fleet assignment.
