The current accessible Consumer Reports findings identify these vehicles, but do not establish a complete model-by-model ranking or enough detail to compare them on equal terms.

The scores and respondent counts above are J.D. Power EVX satisfaction-study figures, not reliability statistics. They can help shoppers understand how owners rated their first year, but they cannot be combined with Consumer Reports’ reliability finding to create a single “most reliable EVs” list.

A defensible ranking of 12 models would require comparable model-level reliability evidence across all 12: the same kind of measure, clear model-year applicability, and enough published method detail to interpret the results. The accessible material does not provide that set. J.D. Power’s separate Vehicle Dependability Study measures problems experienced by original owners of three-year-old vehicles, but the surfaced 2026 material does not supply the model-level EV table needed to rank 12 electric vehicles.
