View official exterior photos of the 2026 Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC on Ford’s U.S. model page. Its gallery shows the car parked and on a closed course, with examples of the available Track Pack. Compare the images with Ford’s equipment and color notes: some photographed details are optional or tied to a specific package, and an image alone does not show what is standard on every car.

Open Ford’s 2026 Mustang Dark Horse SC model page and browse the photo gallery. Ford identifies a parked vehicle, a closed-course driving image and Track Pack examples. The page also provides build-and-price and inventory paths; use those for configuration or availability rather than treating a gallery image as a current dealer-stock listing.
How to read the exterior details
Standard Dark Horse SC styling cues
Ford’s model page lists a painted black rear spoiler, rear diffuser, carbon-fiber hood vent, hood pins, LED sequential taillights and a Tarnished Dark Anodized upper grille with an asymmetrical lower grille and pony badge. These are useful cues when viewing the gallery, but check the feature list against the specific configuration: a photo may depict available equipment or a special package.
Track Pack differences
Look for the 20-inch carbon-fiber wheels and the package’s ducktail-style decklid and carbon-fiber rear wing. Ford describes the available Track Pack as also including Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and a package-specific MagneRide calibration. Ford Racing says it uses custom Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires and produces 620 pounds of rear downforce at 180 mph; that downforce figure is Ford’s Track Pack claim, not a figure for every Dark Horse SC.

The Track Pack also includes a rear-seat delete, which is not an exterior detail and cannot be confirmed from an outside photo. Ford Racing’s April 2026 order announcement says the package reduces weight by about 150 pounds; that comparison applies to the Track Pack configuration, not the model generally.
Colors and optional appearance items
Ford lists seven exterior colors for the U.S. model, with availability on most trims: Shadow Black, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Race Red, Oxford White, Avalanche Gray, Adriatic Blue Metallic and Argon Blue Metallic. Ford identifies Argon Blue Metallic as exclusive to the SC. Optional graphics, a black-painted roof and Carbon Exterior Package items can also change the car’s appearance. Ford’s page notes that some colors cost extra; verify each image’s captions and disclosures before assuming its paint or equipment is standard.

What the photos represent
The Dark Horse SC is powered by a supercharged 5.2-liter cross-plane-crank V8 rated by Ford at 795 maximum horsepower. Ford Racing’s April 23, 2026 announcement gives torque as 660 lb-ft and identifies a seven-speed TREMEC dual-clutch transmission; Ford’s model page also lists a carbon-fiber driveshaft. Those specifications explain the car shown in the gallery, but the photos themselves are not evidence of a performance test.

Ford Racing reported on April 23, 2026, that orders had opened, with initial deliveries then scheduled for summer 2026. That dated announcement does not establish current inventory or order status. For present availability, use the inventory link on Ford’s model page or contact a local Ford dealer.
