Paul Teutul Sr. is still publicly tied to Orange County Choppers (OCC), but the business he built is no longer in New York, where American Chopper was filmed. Its public base is now in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, and official OCC pages place the visitor venue in Clearwater. A September 2026 trade report puts the workshop in neighboring Pinellas Park. The details below separate what the sources confirm from what they do not.
Where the business operates today
The short answer is Florida. The table compares the show-era setting with the current one, since the two are often confused.

| Setting | Location | What the source says |
|---|---|---|
| Original show-era business | New York-based family company | Pilgrim Media Group describes American Chopper as following a New York-based family business, Orange County Choppers. This is a historical description of the show. |
| Current public venue | OCC Road House & Museum, 10575 49th Street North, Clearwater, Florida 33762 | The venue’s official site lists this address for visitors. |
| Current workshop area | Pinellas Park, near Clearwater and St. Petersburg, Florida | Harleysite, a September 30, 2026 first-person report, places the operation here and dates the move to 2021. Its place names are reported, not checked against a permit or lease. |
The venue address is the right point of contact for visitors. It describes where the business is publicly based, not where Teutul lives. No source in this review establishes his private residence, and this article does not infer one from the business location.
What Paul Teutul Sr. does now
His public role is the most clearly documented part of the story.
#1 Best Overall
- Founder. OCC’s official Meet the Team page identifies him as the company’s founder and describes his work in motorcycle building and television production.
- Owner. The OCC Road House crew page, at occroadhouse.com/crew, labels him “Owner, Orange County Choppers.”
- Still building. OCC’s official homepage describes the company, and Paul Sr. with it, as designing and manufacturing custom choppers. Harleysite’s 2026 report also says he continues to build motorcycles at the Florida operation.
Those statements show an ongoing public association with the business. They do not describe his day-to-day schedule, and no source in this review gives a specific current project or client.
The new television series
Harleysite reports that Orange County Choppers Original began airing in the United States on February 21, 2026, on Discovery, with Teutul at the center of the show. OCC’s homepage promotes a new episode and points viewers to Discovery GO, but it does not name the series or give the premiere date.
Rank #2
- DVD
- TV series
- Full Screen
- produced in 2005
Treat the series title and premiere date as trade reporting until they are checked against a Discovery or Warner Bros. Discovery listing. The Harleysite report is dated September 30, 2026, and the official homepage is at orangecountychoppers.com.
A short timeline
- 1999: Pilgrim Media Group says OCC was founded in 1999, growing out of Paul Sr.’s steel-fabrication work. Its production-company page says the first OCC bike, “True Blue,” was shown at Daytona Biketoberfest in 1999. The page is at pilgrimstudios.com/shows/american-chopper.
- 2021: Harleysite dates the move of the operation to the OCC Road House & Museum site in Pinellas Park.
- February 21, 2026: Harleysite reports the start of Orange County Choppers Original on Discovery in the United States.
- September 30, 2026: Harleysite publishes its first-person report on the Florida operation and the television update.
Visiting the Florida venue
The OCC Road House & Museum combines a museum, restaurant, merchandise shop, events, and concert stage. The official site at occroadhouse.com lists the Clearwater address, current event listings, ticket links, and the shop. Check those pages before a visit, because event schedules and ticket availability change. No third-party ticketing or travel arrangement was verified for the venue, so use the official channels.

What the sources do not establish
- Home location. Nothing in the official pages or the trade report gives Paul Sr.’s private address or confirms where he lives.
- Exact workshop address. The venue address is Clearwater, and the 2026 report uses Pinellas Park. Both are in the same metro area, but the public sources do not reconcile the two as one street address.
- Audience figures. A claim that the show aired in more than 160 countries appears in trade reporting without an original publisher or year, so it is not repeated here as a verified figure.
- Series confirmation. The February 2026 premiere date rests on one trade report. An official network listing would be needed to treat it as settled.
Put simply, Teutul is still publicly tied to Orange County Choppers, and the business’s public base is in the Clearwater and Pinellas Park area of Florida rather than New York. Verify the venue’s hours, events, and the series schedule on the official pages before relying on them.
