The next return still ahead is a broader Rumble Bee lineup: Ram says the 5.7-liter version launches in late 2026, followed by 6.4-liter and supercharged 6.2-liter versions in the first half of 2027. Those are manufacturer-announced schedules, not guaranteed delivery dates for every market or dealer.
When did the HEMI return to the Ram 1500?
Ram announced the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 for the 2026 Ram 1500 on June 5, 2025. Its announcement specified eTorque hybrid technology and rated the engine at 395 horsepower and 556 Nm of torque. The announcement’s references to ordering and dealership arrival concerned Europe; they should not be read as a U.S. sales schedule. Ram’s announcement
For the current 2027 Ram 1500 capability page, Ram lists the 5.7-liter HEMI at 395 hp and 410 lb-ft on select models. The page also lists other engine choices, so availability is limited by model and configuration rather than covering every Ram 1500. Ram 1500 capability
The two published torque figures are in different units and refer to distinct model-year contexts: the 2026 announcement’s 556 Nm and the 2027 capability page’s 410 lb-ft. They should not be treated as evidence of a specification change without a technical explanation from Ram.

Which HEMI-powered Ram 1500s are coming, and when?
Ram’s May 20, 2026 announcement describes a staged 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup. The late-2026 launch is the 5.7-liter model; the two higher-displacement versions are scheduled for the first half of 2027. What HEMI trims are available outside the United States?
Regional lineups differ. In a September 17, 2026 announcement for the Middle East, Ram identified the 5.7-liter HEMI with the Rebel and Limited trims, with equipment details specific to that market. Ram’s June 2025 announcement also described European ordering and dealership timing for the 2026 truck. For either region, use the local Ram configurator or dealer to confirm which engine and trim can actually be ordered; a global announcement does not mean every configuration is sold in every country.
How strong was the response to the HEMI’s return?
Stellantis reported more than 10,000 orders in the first 24 hours after the return announcement in a July 29, 2025 results transcript. In its February 6, 2026 results transcript, the company reported more than 60,000 year-to-date orders for 2026 Ram 1500 HEMI-powered trucks.
