The Lexus TX is the longest Lexus SUV by published overall length, and the LX is the model Lexus calls its flagship. Which one “biggest” points to depends on whether you mean physical size or positioning at the top of the range. The figures below come from Lexus materials dated 2025, so check the current Lexus lineup for the latest model-year specifications before you buy.
Two meanings of “biggest”
Lexus uses the word “flagship” for the LX, which is its top luxury SUV. Overall length is a separate measure. Lexus does not describe the TX as its flagship, but its published dimensions make it the longer vehicle. If you are choosing for road presence, parking, or garage fit, length is the number that matters. If you are comparing prestige, equipment, or where a model sits in the lineup, the LX is the answer.
Which Lexus SUV is longest?
The Lexus 2025 TX brochure lists these overall lengths:
| Model (as listed) | Published overall length | Source and date |
|---|---|---|
| TX 500h | 203.5 in | Lexus 2025 TX brochure |
| TX 350 | 203.1 in | Lexus 2025 TX brochure |
| TX 550h+ | 203.1 in | Lexus 2025 TX brochure |
| LX (2025 brochure) | 200.5 in | Lexus 2025 LX brochure |
| LX (2026 model year) | Not stated in the Lexus 2026 LX page reviewed | Lexus 2026 LX page |
On these published figures, the TX 500h is the longest Lexus SUV, and the TX 350 and TX 550h+ are slightly shorter at 203.1 inches. The LX’s 200.5-inch length comes from the 2025 brochure. Lexus’s 2026 LX materials do not show an overall length, so it would be inaccurate to present 200.5 inches as a verified 2026 specification. The gap is small, about 2.6 to 3.0 inches on the 2025 figures, so the difference will be easier to see on a parking-space measurement than in the showroom.

Why the LX is the flagship
Lexus positions the LX as its flagship luxury SUV. The 2026 model is offered with gas and performance-hybrid powertrains. The official 2026 LX page lists seven seats for the gas configuration. Seating for other trims should be confirmed trim by trim before you assume a seven-seat layout. The LX is also presented with full-time four-wheel drive, which is part of its pitch as the top-tier, do-everything Lexus. The Lexus USA Newsroom announcement of September 26, 2025 confirmed that the 2026 LX will offer an F SPORT Appearance Package “exclusively on the LX 700h F SPORT Handling model.”
Where the TX differs: three rows and cargo
The TX is positioned as a three-row comfort and utility model. Lexus’s August 21, 2025 announcement for the 2026 TX says: “With 20.2 cubic feet of cargo space provided behind the third row, the TX ensures nothing has to be left behind.” Cargo figures depend on how the seats are arranged, so read them against the configuration each one describes.

The LX does not have a comparable cargo figure in the Lexus materials reviewed, so no interior-volume comparison with the TX can be made on current published numbers.
Choosing between them
- Choose the TX if you want the longest Lexus SUV and a third row with cargo space behind it.
- Choose the LX if you want the model Lexus names as its flagship, with gas and performance-hybrid options and full-time four-wheel drive.
- Measure before deciding if you are close to a size limit. The published gap is roughly three inches, and the LX length is only available from its 2025 brochure.
What the sources do and do not establish
The TX length figures and cargo figures are established for the model years and configurations in Lexus’s 2025 materials. The Lexus 2026 TX announcement confirms the model continues into 2026, but the materials reviewed did not include a 2026 TX dimension table. The exact 2026 LX length is not established by the sources available, so the answer is “TX is longest by published dimensions” and “LX is Lexus’s flagship,” not a single figure for the LX in 2026.
