Check the light controls and warning messages
Confirm that the headlamp switch or automatic-light setting is in the expected position. Note any dashboard warning or message. A headlamp warning can indicate a failed bulb, according to Ford’s online owner-manual information, but the warning’s presence and behavior depend on the vehicle. If the manual identifies a replaceable bulb
A failed bulb may explain one lamp being out, but confirm that the lamp is designed for bulb replacement and follow the vehicle-specific instructions.
