The available information does not identify the sports car in the renderings—or establish that Nissan commissioned or plans to build it. Without the original image or article, naming a model or describing its design would be guesswork.
What car do the renderings show?
That cannot be determined from the available evidence. The rendering’s creator, publication date, subject, and official or speculative status are all unverified. There is no basis to identify it as a Z, GT-R, IDx, or any other Nissan.
Does a rendering mean Nissan will build the car?
No. An image alone does not show that Nissan approved a design, announced a production plan, or intends to build a new sports car. Those claims require confirmation from Nissan or a traceable source for the image; neither is established here.
What Nissan context is available?
A January 21, 2020, MotorBiscuit article describes the Z as a sports-car lineage running from the 240Z through the 370Z at that time. It also discusses the IDx as an unrealized, proposed rear-wheel-drive concept. Neither example is linked to the unidentified renderings. MotorBiscuit: “How Affordable Performance Could Save Nissan”

That article reports fewer than 3,000 Nissan 370Zs sold in 2019. It also attributes GT-R sales figures to Good Car Bad Car: 337 in 2019 and 1,730 in 2008. These are historical figures cited in 2020 coverage, not current sales data and not evidence about the renderings.

Not on the basis of unidentified renderings. The phrase “could save Nissan” is a headline claim, not a demonstrated business outcome. The historical sales figures above provide limited context, but they do not establish Nissan’s present business outlook or show that a particular sports car would change it.
