Unveiled at the 78th Goodwood Members’ Meeting, the 50-piece collector set paired a dark-finished titanium watch with a 1:64 Hot Wheels model and a metal toolbox. It is a historical launch, not a confirmed current offering.
What was the IWC x Hot Wheels Racing Works watch?
IWC Schaffhausen and Hot Wheels presented the limited edition in 2021 at the 78th Goodwood Members’ Meeting. The watch is reference IW377904, a Pilot’s Watch Chronograph with design details that connect it to the Racing Works car and its motorsport setting. Mattel describes the collaboration and its 50-piece collector set on its product page.
The watch combines a 43 mm grade 5 titanium case with a dark matte finish. A Hot Wheels flame logo is engraved on the case side, while checker-pattern accents bring the racing theme to the black dial. The caseback is smoked sapphire crystal, and the watch came on a silver-and-black textile strap. WatchTime’s October 18, 2021 launch report describes the case and dial; Mattel also details the caseback and strap.
What are the watch’s specifications?
Launch coverage identifies the movement as IWC calibre 69385, an automatic chronograph with day and date displays. Monochrome’s October 16, 2021 report lists the following specifications:

What came in the Racing Works collector set?
The set paired the watch with a 1:64 Hot Wheels Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Racing Works model, presented in a metal toolbox. Mattel describes the miniature as having racing graphics and number 68, a detailed interior and opening gullwing doors. The model was made for this collector set; an ordinary 1:64 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL listing should not be assumed to be the limited Racing Works version.
The complete set was limited to 50 pieces. WatchTime reported that the first set was designated for a charity auction benefiting the Two Bit Circus Foundation, with the remaining 49 reported at $10,000 each. That figure is a launch-era report for those 49 sets, not a current valuation.

Why the collaboration matters to car collectors
Racing Works brings together two very different scales of motorsport collecting: a wearable Pilot’s chronograph and a detailed miniature of a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL race car. The watch’s checker accents and flame logo make the collaboration visible without turning the piece into a conventional Hot Wheels toy, while the numbered miniature and toolbox give the set a distinct display component. Its appeal rests on the combination and the 50-set limit, rather than on a claim that the watch is a current-production model.
