ICON 4×4’s BR is a hand-built restomod based on a restored vintage Ford Bronco body, with both combustion and electric versions listed by the company. ICON’s archive includes factory-tour and Bronco-driving coverage, but the available material does not establish which specific program or vehicle the title “Full Factory Tour And Bronco First Drive” refers to. The current build details below are manufacturer descriptions; the tour and drive notes are historical, vehicle-specific reporting.
What the ICON Bronco factory-tour story can—and cannot—establish
ICON describes its BR as “HAND MADE IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA.” Its current product pages identify the vehicle as a restomod built around a restored original vintage Ford Bronco body. That establishes ICON’s present-day product approach, but it does not identify the shop, build, or vehicle shown in a particular factory-tour video.
ICON’s press archive contains historical passages about a shop in Chatsworth and a work area where an early Bronco was receiving a Mustang GT drivetrain. Those are details from archived coverage, not confirmation of ICON’s current factory location or a description of the exact tour named in the title. The archive’s individual embedded articles do not expose reliable publication dates in the available material. ICON press archive
How ICON describes its current BR build
Restored body and cabin treatment
ICON says the BR starts with a restored original vintage Ford Bronco body, finished in a choice of matte or gloss color. The company describes polyurea protection on the underside and floor surfaces, and Dynamat products on interior panel surfaces for noise and insulation control. These are manufacturer-listed build details, not independent assessments of sound levels or durability. ICON BR trims

Top configurations
ICON lists removable full hard-top, half-cab, and soft-top configurations. The available material does not say that every top comes with every vehicle, or that a specific configuration appears in the archived first-drive coverage. Confirm the actual configuration on the individual build rather than assuming the gallery or model page represents a particular Bronco.
Equipment and options
ICON’s equipment page lists three 18-inch wheel choices, an optional WARN winch with synthetic rope, optional auxiliary lighting, optional ARB locking differentials, a Powertank CO2 system, and an X Jack. It also names ICON LED headlights and other cabin and cargo details. The list is not a bill of materials for every BR; verify what is fitted to a specific vehicle, including winch fitment and capacity, before relying on it for recovery. ICON BR equipment

Combustion or electric: what ICON lists
ICON’s current BR material distinguishes combustion and EV offerings. The EV Founders Edition is described as limited to ten examples. The company’s undated EV specifications page publishes these figures and components; they are ICON’s claims, not results from an independently conducted test:
| EV BR item | ICON-published specification |
|---|---|
| Power | 500+ hp |
| Torque | 440+ lb-ft |
| Battery capacity | 105 kWh |
| Estimated range | 175–200 miles |
| Drive and chassis equipment | Full-time all-wheel drive; Currie axles; rear limited-slip differential; ARB locking front differentials; Reiger adjustable suspension; Brembo brakes |
| Charging | Level 2 charging and CCS fast charging |
| Founders Edition production | Ten units |
ICON does not date the specifications page, so these figures cannot be assigned a publication year. The stated range is an estimate; the page does not provide a test cycle, conditions, or an independent range result. Likewise, the published power and torque figures should be read as manufacturer specifications, not a measured first-drive outcome. ICON BR EV specifications

What the archived first-drive account says
ICON’s press archive includes a first-drive passage about a particular Bronco equipped with a 5.0-litre Ford V8, an Atlas II transfer case, Dynatrac Dana axles, and Eibach and FOX suspension. The passage also describes that vehicle’s off-road experience. Those details belong to the specific vehicle in that historical account; they do not establish the powertrain or parts in the vehicle named by the title, nor should they be treated as current standard BR specifications. ICON’s official motion gallery lists BR videos, including “1971 ICON Bronco Restomod – Jay Leno’s Garage” and a CarCast item, among other build videos. The gallery does not confirm either as the exact “Full Factory Tour And Bronco First Drive” item. Without a matching listing, the title alone is not enough to identify its publisher, vehicle build, or date. ICON motion gallery

How to read the details before comparing builds
- Separate current specifications from period reporting: ICON’s product pages describe its current BR offerings; archived coverage describes particular historical vehicles and workshop scenes.
- Check the powertrain: combustion and EV versions are distinct offerings, so an engine or range claim only applies to the specified build.
- Confirm top and options: the listed tops, wheels, recovery gear, lighting, and differentials do not establish what is fitted to an individual Bronco.
- Keep EV numbers in context: ICON publishes estimated range and performance figures, but the undated specification page does not document independent testing conditions.
