If you mean the Aprilia SXR 125, Aprilia India lists its fuel tank capacity as 7 litres in its 2023 technical-specification brochure. “SXR GT 125” does not match the model name in the official materials reviewed; the separate Aprilia SR GT 125 is listed with a 9-litre tank.

Aprilia India’s 2023 SXR 125 technical-specification brochure gives the “Fuel Tank Capacity” as “7 Litres.” This figure applies to the India-market SXR 125 specification documented in that brochure; it does not establish capacity for every market or model year.
Aprilia’s SXR 125 product page confirms the model name. It describes a 124.45 cc-class scooter with a 3-valve i-get engine, but does not establish that later versions retain the same tank capacity.
Is it the SXR 125 or the SR GT 125?
The official materials reviewed identify an SXR 125, not an “SXR GT 125.” Aprilia also sells a distinct model called the SR GT 125. Its 2025 technical specification lists a 9-litre fuel tank.

These are different models and their capacities are not interchangeable. If the badge or paperwork is unclear, check the scooter’s registration or model documentation to identify it.
Does the 7-litre figure mean 7 litres are usable?
The SXR 125 brochure states total fuel tank capacity but does not specify reserve capacity or usable fuel volume. It therefore does not establish how much fuel remains when a warning appears or how much can be used before refuelling.
