The appearance took place at Indian Motorcycle Perth in Kenwick, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia—not Kennewick, Washington. PerthNow previewed the visit on February 28, 2024, linking its timing to wife P!nk’s Perth concert weekend. A report dated March 2 described Hart at the dealership that day. What was planned, and what was reported?
The announced plan
PerthNow said Hart was expected at the store around 11am. The announced program was a poster signing and motorcycle conversation from noon to 1pm, followed by a ride with attendees. Those times and activities describe the preview, not a verified minute-by-minute record of the day.
The reported appearance
The March 2 report said Hart arrived at about 11am, as fans gathered at the dealership seeking photographs and autographs. It documented fan interactions but did not establish that every advertised activity took place exactly as scheduled.

Why did Carey Hart stop by?
Hart was described in the coverage as a former professional motocross competitor. The event report quoted him saying, “I’m here for a couple of months with the missus and the family and it’s just a great opportunity to pop into some dealerships to meet the people,” attributing the remark to Hart during the visit.
What motorcycle did he arrive on?
The event coverage identified the motorcycle Hart rode in as an Indian Challenger. It did not give a model year or configuration, or provide specifications, pricing or an endorsement; the motorcycle is incidental context in the event story, not a basis for choosing a bike.
