Is there an announced 2025 Dodge Viper?
No confirmed 2025 production Viper is established by the available evidence. A page matching this topic discusses what a 2025 Dodge Viper GTS might be like, but its engine, appearance, cabin and release timing are expectations rather than verified Dodge plans. It does not establish that Dodge announced, designed or built the car. What might the imagined 2025 Viper look like?
Without an authenticated design or official specification, there is no factual basis for describing a 2025 Viper’s bodywork, cabin or equipment as settled. The idea of an aggressive exterior and a digital cockpit appears in concept-related speculation, not a confirmed Dodge design. Treat any images or renderings as interpretations by their creators, not photographs or previews of a production car.
The most grounded visual reference is the real Viper: a low, wide sports car with a distinctive long-hood profile. A modern concept could reinterpret that silhouette, but any particular grille, lighting, roofline, aero package or interior layout would be an artist’s proposal unless tied to a verifiable Dodge announcement.

Why the Viper’s 2017 ending matters
Dodge announced in 2016 that Viper production would end after the 2017 model year. Tim Kuniskis, then identified as Head of Passenger Cars, Dodge, SRT, Chrysler, and Fiat for FCA North America, said: “The Dodge Viper has had a great run, and 25 years after it was first introduced, it leaves the supercar world reaching for the records it continues to set.” The statement appears in MotorTrend’s report of the June 21, 2016 announcement.
Dodge’s final-year editions are a useful reminder of what was real, rather than evidence of a successor. The announcement described five special-edition configurations for 2017:

These names and quantities describe announced 2017 editions, not 2025 trims or production plans. The final-year account also cites Randy Pobst’s 1:28.65 Laguna Seca lap in a 2016 Viper ACR, set in October 2015. That is a historical track achievement, not a performance claim for a hypothetical new car. Dodge’s reproduced announcement and edition details are the source for these historical specifics.

- Look for a named creator and a clear label. “Concept,” “render” or “artist’s impression” signals an imagined design, not an official vehicle image.
- Check for a Dodge announcement. A release date, engine, horsepower figure, price or production run needs an attributable official source before it can be treated as fact.
- Separate historical Viper details from proposed ones. A real Viper edition, track record or design cue does not confirm a successor.
Until a verifiable announcement appears, there are no confirmed 2025 Viper trims, powertrain specifications, production numbers or launch date to compare. The useful answer is therefore a boundary: the Viper’s legacy makes a revival easy to imagine, but a 2025 model remains unverified.
