What happened in the Walkaway crash?
WA Police reported that the crash occurred at about 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, 9 November 2025, at the intersection of Walter Road and Nangetty-Walkaway Road in Walkaway, described in the police release as being in the Geraldton area. The vehicles were a white Mack truck towing four trailers and a blue Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The 60-year-old male motorcycle rider sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. The police release and PerthNow report do not explain how the collision happened. They do not establish who had right of way, whether either road user was at fault, or what investigators ultimately concluded. The police release identifies the rider by age and gender but does not name him.

What did police ask witnesses to do?
In a release first published on 10 November 2025 and updated on 25 November 2025, WA Police said Major Crash investigators were seeking information from people who witnessed the crash or saw either vehicle travelling in the area beforehand. Police also invited relevant dashcam or mobile-phone footage. The release directed people with information to Crime Stoppers online or by phone at 1800 333 000, and said relevant footage could be uploaded through the linked police evidence portal.
