Where and when the crash happened
The incident was reported at about 2:40 p.m. on Saturday, 18 June 2016, on Albany Highway near Threeways Roadhouse in Bannister, approximately 120 km southeast of Perth.
Hospital transfer and condition
The boy was flown to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and then transported to Princess Margaret Hospital. PerthNow reported that he was in stable condition at 6 p.m. that day.
