EVERY1’s world premiere on March 5, 2025. The reveal showed a concept for a planned entry-level electric car—not a production model. Volkswagen said it planned to launch a production version in 2027, starting at around €20,000; those were company targets announced in 2025, not confirmation that the car is on sale or that its timing and price remain unchanged.
What Volkswagen revealed on March 5
The ID. EVERY1 made its world premiere as a concept car previewing Volkswagen’s intended entry point to its electric range. The company placed it alongside the ID. 2all and ID. GTI Concept in a front-wheel-drive electric urban-car family. Volkswagen’s March 2025 announcement described the ID. 2all as a planned 2026 model in the €25,000 class and the ID. EVERY1 as a planned 2027 model around €20,000. These were announced plans, not guaranteed sale dates or final retail prices. Volkswagen’s March 5 announcement introduced the concept and its intended role.
Volkswagen later identified the concept’s platform stage as MEB+. Its September 2025 model-range update continued to describe the ID. EVERY1 as the entry-level electric small car completing the future range, but did not announce a production launch or revise the detailed specifications. That update also discussed the ID. Polo naming strategy. Volkswagen Group’s September 2025 update provides that later context.
What the concept’s published specifications say
Volkswagen’s world-premiere press pack gives these figures for the concept. They are not confirmed production-car specifications.

The figures are listed in Volkswagen’s ID. EVERY1 world-premiere press pack. The later concept fact sheet likewise identifies a four-door, front-wheel-drive concept with 70 kW (95 PS), a length of 3,880 mm and 305 litres of luggage volume.
What is—and is not—known about price and availability
Volkswagen announced a production version for 2027 with a starting price of around €20,000. The September 2025 corporate update retained that entry-level positioning. Neither announcement establishes a current retail price, confirms that production has begun, or verifies that the announced schedule remains unchanged as of October 8, 2026. The concept’s range and other performance figures should not be treated as certified specifications for a production car.

Why Volkswagen presented the concept
The company positioned the ID. EVERY1 as the lower-priced rung of a future electric small-car range, below the ID. 2all’s announced €25,000 class. The concept offered a preview of how Volkswagen intended to combine an urban-sized four-seat hatchback with an entry-level electric-car price target. Its place in the announced family—and its concept status—are more firmly established than any production model’s final equipment, specifications or market availability.
