Sam Clarke and Sara Sloman rode the bike around Greater London in just over 16 hours, taking regular turns in the saddle and never plugging it in again. The record is real and well documented, but it describes one route, one day and one set of conditions, so it helps to understand exactly what was measured before comparing it with any range figure on a spec sheet.
What the record measures
The Guinness entry is titled “Longest journey by an electric motorbike on a single charge.” It lists the following details for the attempt:

How the ride was run
The conditions matter as much as the distance. Guinness describes the following setup:
- The battery started fully charged.
- The charging cable was disconnected and the charging port was sealed before the start.
- A professional tracker followed the route, so the distance and path were logged independently of the riders.
- The route ran through suburban areas and reflected typical traffic in a major city.
Verge’s own account adds that the route included occasional congestion, traffic lights and pedestrian crossings. Those stops and slowdowns are part of why the ride took more than sixteen hours rather than a shorter, steadier run. The attempt was a single timed run, not a laboratory cycle or a standard test course.

- 【PRE-PURCHASE REMINDER】This product for Verge Motorcycles TS Pro 2023–2026. Please check the size of this product before placing your order to ensure it meets your requirements, so as to avoid affecting your shopping experience due to size issues.
- 【STAY FOCUSED WITH A MORE STABLE HOLD】A phone mount should keep your screen where you expect it—not constantly shake, shift, or require readjustment. The upgraded dual-rod base creates a more secure mounting structure, helping keep your smartphone steady while you navigate, check directions, or stay connected on the move.
- 【ADJUST THE FIT TO YOUR PHONE】The adjustable holder gives you room to fine-tune the grip for different smartphone sizes. With an adjustable width of up to 100 mm / 3.94 in and an inner width of approximately 50 mm / 1.97 in, the design provides flexible positioning without forcing your phone into a fixed-size cradle.
- 【CUSHIONED CONTACT FOR EVERYDAY PROTECTION】Built-in cushioning creates a softer contact point between the mount and your device. Instead of relying entirely on hard surfaces, the padded grip helps reduce direct contact and vibration while keeping your phone securely positioned during regular use.
- 【KEEP ESSENTIAL PORTS WITHIN REACH】A smart mount should not make your phone harder to use. The open-sided design leaves important areas accessible, allowing convenient access to buttons, speakers, headphones, charging connections, and calls while the device remains mounted.
Verification and support
According to Verge’s announcement published on 27 May 2025, Webfleet collected the vehicle data, Generate Media documented the effort, and the AA supported the motorcycle’s mechanical operability during the attempt. These are details the manufacturer reported; the Guinness entry is the primary source for the distance, date and method.
Verge also reported that the battery still held about 7% charge when the attempt stopped. That figure comes from Lauri Laukkanen, Verge Motorcycles CMO, as quoted in the same announcement. It is a company-reported figure, not an independently measured one, and it does not change the official distance.

A single-charge record is useful, but it is not directly comparable with a manufacturer’s range estimate or with another motorcycle’s record. When you compare electric motorcycle range claims, check four things:
- Measured or estimated: the 2025 figure was measured over a recorded route; manufacturer ranges are estimates under the manufacturer’s own test conditions.
- Model and battery: the record names the Verge TS Pro used in 2025. Current TS Pro configurations are listed separately, with different battery sizes.
- Route and traffic: urban stop-start traffic with lights and crossings is different from steady highway riding.
- Recharging rules: this record allowed no recharge at all, so it measures one full charge, not charging speed or a trip with stops to plug in.
Current TS Pro figures are separate from the record
The Verge TS Pro product page, retrieved on 8 October 2026, advertises two battery options. These are the manufacturer’s current claims for those configurations. They were not demonstrated by the 2025 ride.
| Battery option | Advertised range | DC fast charging |
|---|---|---|
| 20.2 kWh | Up to 217 miles | Not stated |
| 33.3 kWh | Up to 370 miles | Up to 186 miles added in under 10 minutes, using up to 200 kW |
The same product page, retrieved on 8 October 2026, lists the following details. Each one is a manufacturer statement that may change:
- Starting price of US$29,900 for the TS Pro. Taxes, delivery and regional fees may apply.
- A 24-month bike warranty and a five-year power-battery warranty.
- Estimated delivery windows of Q4 2026 for the EU and US, and Q4 2027 for the UK and other regions.
Check the current TS Pro page before relying on any of these details, since prices, specifications, warranty terms, sales regions and delivery windows can change.
Checking whether the record still stands
Guinness notes that records can change daily and are not always published online immediately. The entry confirms the 2025 achievement, but it does not on its own prove that the distance remains the current record on any given date. Before stating that Verge still holds the title, check the Guinness entry directly.
The 310.689 km figure stands as the documented result of a timed, tracked ride in Greater London in March 2025. It shows what one TS Pro could cover on one charge under those conditions, and it is the figure to quote for that claim.
