VeilSide’s “wild” GR86 is the VeilSide F86 GT, a modified 2021 Toyota GR86 (chassis ZN8) displayed at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026. Its standout changes are a broad multi-panel body kit, wide rear overfenders and staggered 19-inch wheels; the official listing also records suspension, brake, exhaust, lighting and interior components. The show catalogue marks the exhibited car road-legal but not for sale, and gives no performance-test results.
What is the VeilSide F86 GT?
It is a VeilSide-built GR86 show car, based on the 2021 Toyota GR86 with chassis code ZN8. VeilSide Co., Ltd. displayed it at booth 1110 during Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, held January 9–11 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The event has passed; this is a retrospective look at the exhibit, not a report of an upcoming debut. The official vehicle listing provides the build details, while the official exhibitor listing identifies VeilSide and the event schedule.
An event recap also described the car as a GR86 body-kit debut at the show, but the catalogue is the source for the specific parts and dimensions. Web Cartop’s event recap is secondary context, not the specification record.
What parts make up the build?
F86 GT bodywork
The catalogue names the body kit VeilSide F86 GT and lists a front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, front fenders, rear overfenders, rear spoiler, hood, door panels and side panels. The recorded body color is orange and black. Taken together, those listed panels give the GR86 a much wider, more customized profile than its standard body; the rear overfenders are especially prominent.

Suspension, brakes and exhaust
VeilSide’s listed components include original air suspension and brakes, alongside a FUJITSUBO EXHAUST SYSTEMS exhaust. The entry does not give suspension settings, brake dimensions, exhaust specifications or measured changes in power, handling or stopping distance.
Interior and lighting
The recorded VeilSide parts also include a reclining seat, original steering wheel, floor mat and light set. The catalogue identifies these components but does not describe their materials, adjustment range or other technical details.

Is the VeilSide F86 GT for sale?
No: the Tokyo Auto Salon vehicle listing marks the exhibited car as not for sale. It also records the build as road-legal. Those labels describe the show car in the catalogue; they do not establish that VeilSide sells the F86 GT kit or its individual parts, or that the same road-use status applies to another car after modification. The listing provides no current kit price or retail availability information.

The documented changes make the F86 GT principally a bodywork-and-stance build, supplemented by named exhaust, suspension, brake, lighting and cabin components. Owners considering similar parts would need to verify fitment, local road rules and actual availability for their own vehicle rather than treating the exhibit specification as an installation guide.
