2026 Nissan Z Sport: the strongest price-to-output anchor
At a listed $42,970 starting MSRP and 400 hp, the Z Sport is the most compelling verified match for buyers prioritizing a high horsepower figure at a comparatively accessible new-car price. It is a sports car rather than a practical sedan, so its two-seat layout and limited cargo space may matter as much as its engine output.
For context, Toyota’s 2026 GR Supra 3.0 starts at $58,300 and makes 382 hp, but it has a 3.0-liter inline-six—not a V6. 2026 Cadillac CT5-V: a V6 sedan alternative

Its listed starting price of $62,195 puts it above a $60,000 base-price limit, so it belongs as a higher-price stretch option rather than a strict low-cost recommendation. A dated Genesis G70 performance reference
The 2026 Genesis G70 model page identifies an available 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6. For a dated performance reference, Car and Driver lists the 2025 G70 3.3T at 365 hp and reports a 0–60 mph test time of 4.5 seconds for its test car. Why this is not a complete top ten
A defensible ten-car ranking requires model-year-specific engine, output and price information for every entry, with new and used vehicles compared separately. The available evidence verifies only a small number of current new V6 examples and does not provide enough consistent data to rank ten cars without mixing unlike models or making unsupported claims.

A CARFAX review mentions the Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400, Kia Stinger GT, Acura TLX Type S, Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance and Genesis G80 3.5T Sport as alternatives in a discussion of CT4 pricing. That mention is a lead, not enough to establish each candidate’s model year, engine, price or current availability. How to compare these cars before buying
- Compare the same kind of price. Use new-car MSRP against new-car MSRP, or dated used asking prices for matching model years; do not treat an old used listing as comparable to a current new-car MSRP.
- Check the exact trim and engine. Performance grades can have different horsepower and prices, as the Z Sport and NISMO figures illustrate.
- Look beyond horsepower. Seek a named outlet’s acceleration test for the exact model year and configuration, and consider handling evidence, drivetrain and transmission before calling one car an equal performer.
- Match the body style to your needs. The Z, CT5-V and CT4-V Blackwing serve different seating and cargo needs; output alone cannot decide which is the better daily driver.
- Budget for the actual transaction. Starting MSRP is not an out-the-door price and does not establish taxes, fees, insurance, financing, maintenance or dealer discounts.
