As of October 8, 2026, Mercedes-Benz had announced six models it expected to premiere at the Paris Motor Show, scheduled for October 12–18: the GLA, Mercedes-AMG CLA 45, GLE, Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, electric VLE and S-Class. Those are announced show premieres, not confirmed retail launch dates. Meanwhile, several other new or electric Mercedes models are already in production, reaching customers or available in some markets.
Six Mercedes models expected at the 2026 Paris Motor Show
Mercedes-Benz’s September 29 preview named six expected premieres. The show was still upcoming on October 8, so details below reflect the company’s announcement before the event; its preview said images from the press conference would be posted after October 12. Mercedes-Benz’s Paris preview does not give final market-by-market order or delivery dates.

For the VLE, Mathias Vaitl, Head of Marketing and Sales at Mercedes-Benz Vans, described a range of “more than 700 km.” Mercedes-Benz cautions that actual range depends on driving style, conditions, equipment, payload, route and other factors, and may differ from the WLTP value. Which upcoming Mercedes models are electric?
Electric VLE: the Paris-show van
The VLE is the clearest all-new electric vehicle among the six announced Paris premieres. Mercedes-Benz describes it as a passenger vehicle with seating for up to eight. Its stated range is subject to the company’s caveats above; the preview did not establish retail timing by country.

Electric CLA, GLC, GLB and GLA: already progressing in Europe
The electric CLA was being introduced in additional markets, including the United States and Japan, while the electric GLC was in production and reaching customers. Mercedes-Benz also said the electric GLB had started successfully and that GLA series production began in September 2026. In that October 7 Q3 update, Mercedes-Benz reported that its electric CLA, GLC, GLB and GLA were sold out in Europe for the remainder of 2026, with order books extending into 2027. This is the company’s statement about European availability for those electric models; it does not establish a global shortage or apply to every combustion or hybrid version.

Electric C-Class and E-Class: part of the wider pipeline
Mercedes-Benz’s strategy material describes an all-new electric C-Class and a future all-electric E-Class. The C-Class range also includes new sedan and estate variants with electrified combustion engines; the company said the electric C 300 4MATIC followed in Europe in September 2026. “C-Class” therefore covers distinct powertrains and body styles with different timing. What is already launched, in production or market-specific?
A model appearing in a future-model roundup does not necessarily mean it is still awaiting launch. Mercedes-Benz’s 2026 activity includes vehicles already introduced or progressing through production and market rollouts. The distinction matters especially for the CLA, GLC and GLA names, which cover multiple versions and regional configurations.

China-only long-wheelbase launches
The electric GLC L is a China-market long-wheelbase model announced in five- and six-seat configurations at Auto China. The electric CLA 260 L launched in China in April, and Mercedes-Benz reported the locally produced GLE L launch there in mid-September. A pipeline larger than the Paris list
Mercedes-Benz said it plans to introduce more than 40 new models by the end of 2027. That is a corporate plan, not a complete list of individually named vehicles with confirmed dates. Its 2026 activity also includes the new S-Class, EQS, GLS, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, electric C-Class, GLE, GLE Coupé, CLA, GLB and electric VLE. How to read Mercedes launch dates and availability
- Expected premiere: Mercedes-Benz has named a vehicle for an event, but the show reveal itself may not yet have happened.
- Production: Manufacturing has begun; this alone does not confirm that every market can place an order or receive a vehicle.
- Orders or deliveries: These are market-specific. Check the local Mercedes-Benz site or retailer for configuration, ordering and estimated delivery information.
- Sold out: In the October 7 statement, this referred specifically to European availability of four electric model lines for the remainder of 2026, with orders extending into 2027.
For the six Paris premieres, the event date is the firm date available in the announcement; final retail order and delivery dates by market were not provided. Check local Mercedes-Benz product pages or retailers for later availability updates.
