The Vendetta is Ungoverned’s electric successor to the One, a gas-powered, caterpillar-tracked board that carries a standing rider on an articulated deck. The most detailed published description is New Atlas’s feature by Ben Coxworth, dated September 23, 2021. It reports a top speed of 50 km/h (31 mph), a weight of 19.5 kg (43 lb), and an average ride of 40 minutes. Those are the 2021 article’s reported figures and the maker’s own claims, not independent test results. The manufacturer’s current catalog lists a Vendetta UV-4.2 Sport, but the listing text does not confirm the 2021 specifications.
What the Vendetta replaces
New Atlas described the original Ungoverned powerboard, which it later refers to as the One, as a gas-powered, caterpillar-tracked all-terrain skateboard and snowboard. The article credits Australian surfer, snowboarder and skateboarder Dan Baldwin as the inventor, and says he had earlier built a prototype called the Scarpar. The Vendetta was presented as the electric follow-on to the One. Ungoverned describes itself as an Australian maker of limited-production tracked electric terrain platforms, and calls the Vendetta a dual-track electric mobility system. Those are the company’s descriptions rather than independently verified findings.
How the tracked design works
A standing, articulated deck
The Vendetta uses a snowboard-like deck that the rider stands on, with the two tracks mounted in line underneath, similar in layout to a snowmobile. The articulated deck is what makes the machine unusual: the rider’s stance and weight are the main steering inputs, rather than a handlebar or a wheel.
Two tracks, two motors
According to the 2021 article, each track has its own brushless DC electric motor. Because the tracks are driven separately, the system can vary traction between the front and rear, which New Atlas describes as traction control. Power comes from a swappable lithium-ion battery. The rider accelerates and brakes with a handheld wireless controller, which also shows speed and battery charge. These descriptions come from the 2021 report and have not been checked against the current UV-4.2 Sport.

The One and the Vendetta compared
The table uses only the comparison points New Atlas reported in 2021. Where the article gave no value for the One, the cell says so.

How to read the 2021 performance claims
The top speed and ride time are the figures most often repeated, and both depend on conditions. The 40-minute figure assumes a rider of 75 kg (165 lb) cruising at a steady 25 km/h on level ground. A heavier rider, a faster pace, hills, or cold weather will shorten it, and the article does not quantify those effects. The 50 km/h figure is the top speed claimed by the maker and repeated by New Atlas; the article gives no test method for it. Because a stand-on machine with a claimed top speed of 50 km/h carries real risk, full protective gear is sensible, and local rules on where motorized boards may be ridden vary and should be checked before riding.

How does the Vendetta turn?
New Atlas explains that the rider steers by shifting weight on the articulated deck. A reader comment on the article questioned the machine’s turning radius, and the 2021 report does not answer it with a measured figure. The current listings reviewed for this article do not give one either. Until the maker publishes a turning radius or an independent measurement appears, the turning performance of the Vendetta cannot be confirmed in numbers.
Prices: 2021 versus the current catalog
The 2021 figures are campaign and planned prices, and they are not current. The current catalog price is in US dollars, while the 2021 prices are in Australian dollars, so the figures should not be compared directly.

AT-2 Track System
The maker’s catalog lists an AT-2 Track System at US$279. The product page says it is engineered for the Vendetta UV-4.2, is sold only to Vendetta owners, and was backordered when the page was reviewed. Availability can change, so confirm it directly with Ungoverned before planning a replacement.
Distribution and service
Ungoverned’s locations page names a UK distributor and identifies GoElectric.ae as a certified service and warranty agent in the UAE. It also invites inquiries from regional partners. These are the manufacturer’s own statements about its network, and the page does not describe the terms of each arrangement.

What is not yet established
- Range: no current range figure is confirmed by the maker’s pages or by independent testing.
- Current specifications: weight, top speed and battery details on the current UV-4.2 Sport are not confirmed against the 2021 figures.
- Water resistance: New Atlas’s prototype caption describes the machine as splashproof and says the commercial model may be completely submersible. That is a 2021 possibility, not a published water-resistance rating.
- Campaign status: the Indiegogo listing names Ungoverned Pty Ltd, trading as Dan Baldwin, as campaign creator. The text accessible for this article was too sparse to establish the current campaign or delivery status.
- Turning radius: no measured figure is published, as noted above.
