The motorcycle was first revealed in March 2025 with a Q1 2026 delivery expectation; the latest reporting moves the target to Q1 2027. India Today’s September 29, 2026 report says production-line preparation has begun at Ultraviolette’s existing facility. What does the new 100V architecture mean for the Shockwave?
Ultraviolette says the Shockwave will use its newly developed 100V architecture. The announcement describes potential improvements in power delivery, thermal efficiency and charging performance, but does not quantify those benefits for the Shockwave. The manufacturer’s Shockwave page currently displays a starting price of ₹1,75,000 and a pre-booking option. That is a currently displayed figure, not confirmed final pricing. Autocar India reports that the bike’s announced starting price at its March 2025 reveal was ₹1.50 lakh and describes ₹1.75 lakh as the current expected price; the September 2026 launch coverage says final pricing is still pending.
