What is the Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition?
It is a 2025 special edition of Triumph’s middleweight Trident 660, distinguished by its racing-inspired paint and standard-fit bodywork. Triumph says the design references ‘Slippery Sam’, the Trident that won five Isle of Man TT production races in five consecutive years, from 1971 to 1975. What is different about the Triple Tribute?

- A belly pan and colour-matched fly screen included as standard on this edition.
The ‘67’ graphic is part of the ‘Slippery Sam’ racing tribute, rather than an indication of engine size or output. Triumph’s announcement ties the edition’s number and race styling to that historic motorcycle.
How much power does the 2025 Triple Tribute have?
Triumph specifies an 660 cc liquid-cooled inline-three producing 81 PS at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm at 6,250 rpm for the 2025 edition. It has a six-speed gearbox, wet multi-plate slip-and-assist clutch and Triumph Shift Assist for clutchless upshifts and downshifts. What equipment and chassis does Triumph list?
Triumph lists Sport riding mode, Optimised Cornering ABS and traction control, plus Triumph Shift Assist. The company describes the cornering ABS as using IMU inputs and the traction control as adapting power to lean angle and surface grip.

How is it different from the 2026 Trident 660?

Check the model year and local Triumph specification when comparing listings: the 2026 figures should not be attributed to a 2025 Triple Tribute, and regional specifications or edition naming may vary.
What should buyers check before purchasing?
- Confirm the model year and that the bike is the Triple Tribute configuration; its belly pan and fly screen are standard on the 2025 edition.
- Ask a local Triumph dealer to confirm current price, stock, delivery timing and financing. Triumph’s 2024 UK launch announcement listed £7,895 on the road and dealership arrivals from April 2024; that is historical launch information, not a current quote or availability guarantee. The original UK launch announcement contains those details.
- Verify accessory compatibility against the exact model year and market before ordering. Triumph’s 2024 announcement described accessories including heated grips, luggage, protection products, a battery charger, tyre-pressure monitoring and security items; the 2025 edition announcement identifies the belly pan and fly screen as standard, not optional purchases for that configuration.
- For an A2-restricted version, confirm local licensing rules and dealer configuration. Triumph describes an accessory-fit conversion in Europe that limits output to 47 PS / 35 kW; availability and rules are market-specific.
What Triumph says about the Trident’s sales
In its 2024 announcement, Triumph said more than 35,600 Trident units had sold worldwide since the model’s 2020 launch. That is a company-published figure, not an independently verified sales count. The same announcement quotes Chief Commercial Officer Paul Stroud describing the special edition as intended to bring the ‘Slippery Sam’ reference to contemporary Triumph fans.
