The 2026 U.S. Toyota GR Supra is rated at 382 hp and 368 lb-ft, with Toyota estimating 0–60 mph in 3.9 seconds for the automatic and 4.2 seconds for the manual. Those figures describe one model year and market; Australian 0–100 km/h figures and independent test results use different measures and conditions.
2026 U.S. GR Supra performance at a glance
Toyota’s April 3, 2025 announcement for the 2026 U.S. GR Supra lists three grades—3.0, 3.0 Premium, and MkV Final Edition—each offered with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic. Toyota’s acceleration figures are manufacturer estimates, not guaranteed results for every car or test.
| 2026 U.S. GR Supra figure | Automatic | Manual |
|---|---|---|
| 0–60 mph, Toyota estimate | 3.9 seconds | 4.2 seconds |
| Transmission | Eight-speed automatic | Six-speed manual |
| Engine output | 382 hp and 368 lb-ft, according to Toyota | |
Toyota’s 2026 GR Supra announcement describes chassis, brake, suspension, and aerodynamic changes for the MkV Final Edition. The release also announced that fifth-generation production would end in spring 2026; that was Toyota’s announced plan on April 3, 2025, rather than a statement of current production status.
Engine specifications and dimensions
Toyota’s 2025 U.S. brochure provides detailed specifications for the 3.0-liter GR Supra. The figures below are brochure specifications for the 2025 U.S. model, not a claim that every market or year has identical equipment.

The brochure recommends premium fuel. It lists estimated fuel economy of 23 mpg city, 31 highway, and 26 combined for the automatic; the manual is listed at 19 city, 27 highway, and 21 combined. These are 2025 U.S. brochure figures, not Australian laboratory results or a guarantee of real-world economy. See Toyota’s 2025 GR Supra brochure.
Why 0–60 mph and 0–100 km/h figures differ
Zero to 60 mph and zero to 100 km/h are not interchangeable measurements: 60 mph is about 96.6 km/h, while 100 km/h is about 62.1 mph. The 2026 U.S. estimates therefore should not be directly substituted for Toyota Australia’s published figures.

Toyota Australia’s July 2025 specification sheet gives 0–100 km/h in 4.1 seconds for the automatic and 4.4 seconds for the manual, with a maximum speed of 250 km/h. It lists the engine at 285 kW and 500 Nm. Those are Australian-market specifications; the sheet also reports approximate kerb weights of 1,525 kg automatic and 1,500 kg manual, and 290 liters of cargo space.
The same Australian sheet lists combined laboratory fuel consumption of 7.7 L/100 km for the automatic and 9.1 L/100 km for the manual under ADR81/02 testing. Toyota cautions that these laboratory results do not reflect real-world driving. They should not be compared directly with U.S. mpg figures without accounting for the different units and test contexts. The source is Toyota Australia’s July 2025 Supra specification sheet.

Independent acceleration tests
Manufacturer estimates and instrumented publication tests answer different questions. A publication’s result reflects its test car, conditions, and procedure; it does not replace Toyota’s specifications or establish what every Supra will achieve.
- 2020 test: Car and Driver recorded 0–60 mph in 3.8 seconds and a quarter mile in 12.3 seconds at 113 mph. This is an independent publication test, not a Toyota estimate.
- 2026 Final Edition review: Car and Driver reported a quarter mile of 12.4 seconds at 115 mph. This is a separate review and should not be treated as a direct comparison with the 2020 test absent matching configurations and conditions.

What is the Supra’s Nürburgring lap time?
There is no single lap time that represents every Toyota Supra. A reported 7:52.17 Nordschleife time is attributed to a 2019 GR Supra driven by Christian Gebhardt in Sport Auto’s Supertest on Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The cited record uses the 20.6-kilometer circuit configuration. It is a publication test result, not a universal or Toyota-official production-Supra record.
Lap times depend on the generation and exact car, driver, tires, circuit configuration, and test conditions. The 7:52.17 figure is reported by FastestLaps.com and attributed there to Sport Auto’s test; consult the original publication test for deeper detail on its procedure.

Supra generations: a short timeline
Toyota dates the Supra name’s origins to 1978, when it appeared on a larger, more powerful version of the second-generation Celica. The A40, A60, A70, and A80 are distinct generations, and the modern MkV is a later return—not another name for the A80.
| Generation | Toyota’s date | Context |
|---|---|---|
| A40 | 1978 | The Supra name first appeared on a Celica variant. |
| A60 | 1981 | A subsequent generation in the Supra lineage. |
| A70 | 1986 | A subsequent generation in the Supra lineage. |
| A80 | 1993 | Front-engine, rear-wheel-drive GT sports car; production ended in 2002. |
| MkV | Returned in 2019 | The fifth-generation GR Supra is distinct from the A80. |
Toyota says the A80 won the GT500 class in Japan’s top GT series four times. Its global Supra history gives the generation timeline. For a more specific period reference, Toyota UK’s archive describes the 1993–1996 U.K.-market A80 as having a 326 bhp twin-sequential-turbo straight-six, a 0–60 mph time under five seconds, and a 155 mph limited top speed. Those figures are for that U.K. archive entry, not every A80 variant. See the Toyota UK Supra archive.
Factory tires and fitment
Toyota’s 2025 U.S. brochure lists Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires as standard equipment, with different sizes front and rear: 255/35 ZR19 at the front and 275/35 ZR19 at the rear. Check the model year, position, and vehicle fitment before buying replacements. The specification is in Toyota’s 2025 U.S. brochure.
