A production start is a manufacturing milestone, not proof that every dealer has vehicles in stock or that a particular price is available. Inventory and transaction prices depend on location and should be checked with local dealers.
What changed with the 2026 RAV4?
Toyota’s launch announcement presents the sixth generation as a choice among three design families—Core, Rugged and Sport—and Hybrid or Plug-in Hybrid powertrains. The company describes differences across grades in styling, equipment, drivetrain and manufacturer-estimated performance. Those estimates are Toyota figures, not independent test results.

Accessory fit also depends on year and grade. Toyota says the 2026 Woodland includes branded all-weather floor and cargo mats as standard equipment. Buyers considering replacement or additional mats should check compatibility with their particular RAV4; the standard Woodland equipment is not evidence that every owner needs aftermarket mats.
