How to identify the 2010 Nicky Hayden T-Race
Right Time International Watch Center calls its listing “2010 Limited Edition Nicky Hayden T-Race” and gives the reference as T0484172705101. In conventional punctuation, that is T048.417.27.051.01. The reference is the most useful starting point when comparing a watch with the 2010 description; verify it against the case markings and documentation, rather than relying on a seller’s title or photographs alone.
The retailer describes a stainless-steel case, black PVD bezel, black-and-white dial, and red rubber strap. It gives the case dimensions as 50.00 × 45.50 × 12.50 mm. These are listing specifications, not independently confirmed figures from a 2010 Tissot catalog or manual.

How to tell the 2010 watch from the 2012 edition
Tissot’s announcement dated 29 March 2012 concerns a separate Nicky Hayden T-Race edition. It describes that later design’s red silicone bracelet with a white stripe and says Hayden’s race number 69 is engraved on the case back. Those details should not be used to identify the 2010 reference. The announcement is a dated comparison, not evidence that the 2010 watch has the same strap or case-back treatment.
L’Orologio’s account of the 2010 model independently describes a numbered limited edition incorporating Hayden’s colors and racing number, and calls it a GMT chronograph. It does not give the retailer’s precise reference or resolve the GMT operation. For identification, keep the model reference, visible design, and documentation together rather than treating a racing number or color detail as conclusive by itself.

What to check before buying a secondhand example
- Reference and case-back markings: compare the watch’s markings with T048.417.27.051.01 and request clear photographs. A listing headline alone does not authenticate the watch.
- Condition: inspect the case, bezel, crystal, dial, and red strap closely. Ask for photographs that show wear and any damage clearly.
- Documentation and accessories: check whether box, papers, and service records are included, and whether the paperwork supports the claimed reference.
- Seller protections: review the seller’s return terms and credentials before purchase.

The secondary description of the model as a numbered GMT chronograph is from L’Orologio.
