The October 5 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class facelift date and its reported changes come from CarLelo, not a confirming Mercedes-Benz India announcement.
Which cars are launching, and when?
The October 4, 2026 CarLelo report groups the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class facelift, Honda Elevate and Škoda Slavia under a two-day launch headline. The manufacturer announcements give a more qualified picture:

What is confirmed about the Honda Elevate?
Honda Cars India said pre-launch bookings for the “Bold New Honda Elevate” opened on October 1, 2026, at authorized dealerships for ₹21,000. The company scheduled the India launch for October 6 and said India would be the first market to launch the new Elevate. These are details from Honda’s October 1 release.
Honda Vice President – Marketing and Sales Kunal Behl said the update would bring “several strongly desired features and enhancements, along with a bolder design and more premium cabin experience.” The release does not identify those features or provide a detailed specification sheet. The extensive equipment and powertrain details in CarLelo’s report should therefore be treated as reported claims, not as specifications confirmed by this Honda announcement.

Škoda Auto India unveiled the new Slavia on August 18, 2026, opened pre-bookings and said deliveries would commence at the start of the festive season. Its announcement describes changes to styling, equipment and powertrain options:

What is known about the Mercedes-Maybach facelift?
CarLelo’s October 4 report is the source for the October 5, 2026 launch date and its descriptions of exterior, cabin, software, engine and electric-range changes. The Mercedes-Benz India product page located for this model does not corroborate those claims. Without a dated manufacturer announcement or specification release in the available sources, the reported launch date and changes remain unconfirmed here; the page alone does not establish whether a launch did or did not take place. The headline compresses three different announcement statuses into one launch window. Honda’s October 6 schedule is manufacturer-confirmed; the Slavia had already been unveiled in August; and the Maybach’s October 5 date is reported by CarLelo but not confirmed by the Mercedes-Benz India page cited here. That makes the Elevate the only one of the three with an October 6 launch schedule established by a manufacturer release.
