What the report says about the build
VNAuto describes the Viper as retaining its original 8.4-liter V10 block with substantial strengthening and upgrades. Its reported components include a dry-sump system, fire-ring cylinder heads, titanium and Inconel valves, beryllium-copper valve seats, and a billet-steel crankshaft. These details come from the report and were not confirmed against a build sheet or primary source.
The same report describes a custom twin-turbo system with Zona Rotor turbos estimated at 72 mm, custom steel inlet pipes, and heat protection. It also says the original transmission was replaced by a PPG sequential gearbox and an Nth Moto RPS quad-carbon clutch. The accessible evidence does not establish part numbers, precise configurations, or independent verification of these claims.

Is it really a sleeper, and can it be driven on the street?
The car is presented as a highly modified Viper with an extreme power estimate, but the accessible reporting does not establish how stock its exterior appears. It also does not include an accessible road test or owner interview supporting claims about quiet cruising, traffic manners, traction, reliability, or street use. Those qualities should not be assumed from the reported power figures or component list.
VNAuto also gives a factory comparison figure of 645 horsepower and 600 lb-ft for the fifth-generation Viper. That comparison is reported by VNAuto and was not independently checked against a manufacturer source for this article.
