Aitekx unveiled the Robotruck 1T at the 2023 LA Auto Show as a planned electric pickup with an expandable bed and several proposed configurations. Its headline range, acceleration, price and production timing were projections reported at the time—not verified production specifications. The available information does not establish whether the truck went on sale or entered production.
What is the Aitekx Robotruck 1T?
The Robotruck 1T is an electric pickup concept that Silicon Valley startup Aitekx revealed at the 2023 LA Auto Show, according to New Atlas. The show coverage described a planned vehicle, not a production model that had been independently tested.
The title’s comparison with Tesla’s Cybertruck reflects a subjective design reaction, not a measurable verdict. The useful distinction is that the Robotruck’s reported specifications and features were announced plans, while the available coverage does not establish a current production vehicle against which to make a full product comparison.
What configurations and features did Aitekx propose?
New Atlas described a planned lineup spanning single-cab and double-cab versions, with rear-wheel drive using one motor or all-wheel drive using two. Proposed equipment and options included:

These were features reported from the reveal, not independently confirmed production equipment. The coverage positioned the truck for camping and overlanding, but that does not verify compatibility with any particular tent or accessory.
What were the reported dimensions and performance estimates?
New Atlas reported the following figures for the proposed double-cab and its claimed performance. They were estimates attributed to Aitekx, not independently measured or regulator-certified results.

Electrek’s November 16, 2023 coverage also presented the range and acceleration as company claims and noted that Aitekx had not provided it with the battery capacity. Without that basic technical detail in the report, the headline range cannot be assessed from the disclosed battery information alone. The two publications’ reports do not turn the figures into validated specifications.
What price and launch timing were announced?
New Atlas reported an intended price range of US$45,000 for a single-cab rear-wheel-drive version to US$99,000 for a flagship all-wheel-drive sports model. The same 2023 coverage said reports from the LA show suggested a 2026 production target. Both the prices and timing were historical projections. Neither establishes a current price, a completed launch, or that orders are available.

Is the Robotruck 1T available now?
The available reporting does not establish whether Aitekx produced, sold, delayed or cancelled the Robotruck 1T after its reveal. A target reported in 2023 is not evidence that production began in 2026. Without a current authoritative source confirming the vehicle’s status, it would be premature to describe it as available or quote a current price.

Only to a limited extent. The reporting supports a comparison of announced concepts and design, including the Robotruck’s proposed cab choices, expandable bed and planned packages. It does not provide enough current, verified information to recommend one truck over the other or to compare production specifications such as certified range, payload, towing, warranty, delivery availability and final usable bed dimensions. Any styling comparison is a matter of opinion.

What should a prospective buyer or camper keep in mind?
- Treat the reported range, acceleration, dimensions and intended prices as 2023 estimates and plans, not confirmed specifications.
- Look for authoritative confirmation of production, current pricing and delivery geography before treating the Robotruck as a purchase option.
- If considering generic pickup camping equipment, verify fit against the dimensions of an actual production vehicle. Compatibility with the Robotruck 1T has not been established.
