Kia redesigned the Telluride with a more upright, squared-off shape. The exterior has a broad hood, sharper fender creases, and vertical lighting signatures. Kia says the design draws inspiration from the Rocky Mountains and the Colorado town that gave the Telluride its name.

The gasoline Telluride has a maximum towing rating of up to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped. That is a maximum figure, not a rating that applies automatically to every trim, drivetrain, or equipment combination.
The turbo-hybrid is the most significant mechanical addition. Kia rates the system at up to 35 mpg combined on the EX with front-wheel drive. What makes the Telluride X-Pro different?
The X-Pro is the more off-road-oriented version of the 2027 Telluride. Kia equips it with a collection of hardware and software intended to improve performance away from paved roads, including:

The 9.1-inch clearance and all-terrain equipment should make the X-Pro better suited to rough roads, snow, gravel, and moderate trails than a road-focused Telluride. Kia lists a $1,545 destination charge on its U.S. pricing information. That puts the gasoline LX at $40,735 before taxes, title, license, dealer charges, and options if the destination charge is added to the listed MSRP. The same calculation should be made separately for any other trim because destination, options, and dealer charges can affect the final amount.
Kia says the gasoline Telluride is on sale and that the hybrid has begun arriving in showrooms. Actual inventory varies by dealer and region. A listed MSRP is also not the same thing as the dealer’s selling price; dealer pricing, incentives, market adjustments, and financing offers can change.

Second, NHTSA documentation identifies a separate, much smaller recall involving 568 2027 Telluride Hybrid SX-Prestige and X-Line SX-Prestige vehicles equipped with the Executive Package. The vehicles were produced from February 2 through March 13, 2026. During certain powered seat movements, the second-row power seats may fail to detect an occupant or obstruction. The NHTSA filing said the remedy was still under development at the time of that filing.
