The Ducati Streetfighter V4 S leads the 2026 power-naked shortlist published by 1000PS, at a reported 214 HP. The BMW M 1000 R follows at 210 HP, with the Kawasaki Z H2 SE at 200 HP. These are figures from one third-party ranking, not a complete or directly comparable worldwide catalogue: manufacturer figures can vary by market and model version.
2026 leading naked bikes by reported peak power
The figures below are the power ratings reported in 1000PS’s 2026 “The mightiest power and hyper naked bikes!” ranking. They preserve the source’s HP label; the available figures do not establish that every manufacturer or model uses an identical measurement convention.

The ranking is a useful shortlist of high-output models, but it does not cover every brand or every region’s current lineup. Its entries are not all identified with a market and model year in the figures available here, so treat the numbers as the ranking’s reported values rather than a definitive global specification sheet.
Why published horsepower figures can disagree
Ducati Streetfighter V4: UK and US figures differ
Ducati’s UK MY25 Streetfighter V4 specification lists 214 hp (157.4 kW) at 13,500 rpm, with 120.0 Nm at 11,250 rpm from a 1,103 cc engine. Ducati gives the V4 S a wet weight of 189 kg without fuel and the V4 a wet weight of 191 kg without fuel. These are UK-market specifications for the MY25 models.

Ducati’s US MY25 product page lists 205 hp. Ducati’s November 28, 2024 launch announcement likewise described the US-market bike as a 205 hp model and gave a weight of 417 lb. Those US and UK figures should remain attached to their respective market sources; they should not be blended into a single universal specification. The 1000PS ranking’s 214 HP entry is close to Ducati UK’s 214 hp, but that numerical match alone does not establish that the ranking used the same market, version, or measurement convention.
Aprilia Tuono V4: model and market labels matter
The 1000PS ranking lists the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 at 180 HP. Aprilia India’s Tuono V4 product page instead states 175 horsepower and 121 Nm from a 1,077 cc V4. Because the sources identify different model descriptions and a specific India-market page, the figures should not be combined or treated as evidence that one is wrong.

How to compare naked bikes beyond peak horsepower
Peak power is a useful first filter, but it does not tell you which bike will feel strongest or suit your riding. Torque, engine size and configuration, weight, ergonomics, chassis, suspension and electronic aids all affect the experience. A high peak figure also does not by itself establish acceleration, comfort, handling, or suitability for everyday road use.
- Check the exact version and market. A model name may cover multiple trims and regional specifications. Compare like-for-like years and versions wherever the manufacturer identifies them.
- Keep units and test conventions visible. The ranking uses “HP,” while Ducati’s UK page uses “hp” and also supplies a kW conversion. Do not silently treat differently labelled figures as identical or convert them without stating the conversion.
- Look at torque and its engine speed. A peak-torque number and the rpm at which it arrives add context to peak power. The available 1000PS figures here do not give individual torque values, so they cannot support a complete torque comparison.
- Consider weight and fit. Weight figures need their stated conditions: Ducati UK specifies wet weight without fuel, while the US launch announcement reports pounds without an equivalent condition stated here. Seat height and riding position also matter when assessing everyday usability.
- Match the bike to its use. Compare equipment and chassis alongside engine output if the choice is between road riding, occasional track use, or a mix. Power alone cannot settle that decision.
What this shortlist can—and cannot—tell you
For the narrow question “which naked bike has the most horsepower?”, 1000PS’s 2026 ranking puts the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S first among the models it lists. It also identifies a group of other high-output naked and hyper-naked motorcycles, including offerings from BMW, Kawasaki, KTM, Triumph, Aprilia, Suzuki and Honda. It does not establish a complete ranking of all popular brands worldwide, and the manufacturer examples show why the market and version behind a quoted figure matter.
