The automaker brought the concept back at Le Mans in June 2026 with revised exterior styling and a new interior; it has not announced a production version, price, or sale date.
Is the Genesis Magma GT actually for sale?
No. Genesis’s U.S. Magma GT Concept page labels the vehicle a concept and says it is not for sale. “Finally here” refers to the revealed concept, not a retail launch or a car customers can order.
Genesis first unveiled the Magma GT Concept in November 2025 as a halo model for its performance strategy. Its June 2026 Le Mans announcement presented the updated concept and described the GT3 study as one possible direction for a future motorsport program. Neither announcement confirms a customer-bound road car or delivery timing.
What is the Magma GT Concept?
Genesis describes the Magma GT as a two-passenger luxury grand tourer with a low front, wide fenders, and mid-engine proportions. The concept’s design is intended to signal a performance-focused road-going GT, but those proportions and design cues are not a confirmation of final production hardware.

Exterior and cabin
At Le Mans in June 2026, Genesis showed a revised exterior and an all-new interior. The cabin has a twin-cockpit, driver-centered layout, an analog instrument cluster inspired by motorsport timekeeping, and tactile controls. The U.S. concept page also describes front canards integrated into the headlights and G-Matrix patterns that extend from the splitter into wing-like airflow elements.
Engine and power claim
Genesis’s current U.S. concept page describes a mid-rear engine and a twin-turbo V8 producing up to 800 horsepower. That is the manufacturer’s figure for the concept, not an independently measured result or a confirmed specification for a production car. Genesis has not published a Magma GT performance test result in the official materials cited here.

How the Magma GT and Magma GT3 concepts differ
Genesis displayed the Magma GT3 Concept alongside the road-oriented Magma GT Concept at Le Mans. They are related in name and design direction, but they represent different intended uses and development studies.

Genesis says the GT3 study is not a race conversion derived from an existing road-going model. Its appearance does not establish that a retail Magma GT will be built, nor does it confirm a race-program entry.

What Genesis has—and has not—confirmed
The announcements establish that Genesis is using the Magma GT as a performance halo concept and has shown both a road-going GT concept and a separate GT3 study. They do not establish whether the road concept will enter production or provide final production specifications, a price, or a sale date.
Keep other Genesis performance figures separate: the 1.86-kilometer, 52.72-second run reported for the GV60 Magma Concept at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed concerns a different vehicle, not the Magma GT.

Genesis’s stated performance vision
When Genesis first announced the Magma GT Concept on November 20, 2025, President and Chief Creative Officer Luc Donckerwolke described it as a symbol of the brand’s performance ambition: “The Magma GT Concept represents the pinnacle of our performance vision and stands as a symbol of our commitment to true motorsport capability. It isn’t defined by raw aggression or uncompromising speed — it is defined by balance. This is a car that feels instinctively connected to its driver, composed under pressure, and meticulously tuned so that every component serves a single purpose: to make performance effortless.” This is Genesis’s positioning for a concept, not an independent evaluation of the car.
