It is not a revived SVT trim or a confirmed direct successor: it is a Ford Performance package built around a 5.0-liter supercharger kit, with appearance and suspension parts alongside the power upgrade.
What is the Ford F-150 FP700S?
The FP700S is a Ford Performance package for certain 2024–2025 F-150 configurations. Ford Custom Garage’s Bronze Edition listing combines a 3.0-liter supercharger kit with exterior, wheel and lowering components. The package’s name and supercharged setup suggest a performance-truck identity, but the available Ford material does not describe it as an SVT Lightning revival.
What the Bronze Edition package includes
- 3.0-liter supercharger kit
- Bronze 22-by-9.5-inch wheels and black lug nuts
- Rocker-panel aero-shield delete
- Ford Performance fender vents
- Air Design front lip splitter
- Lowering kit
- Decals, badges, black tailgate lettering and an FP700S keychain
Those components make the FP700S more than a power add-on: Ford’s listed package also changes the truck’s stance and appearance. The Black Edition listing appears to follow a similar equipment theme, but the details above are from Ford Custom Garage’s Bronze Edition page. Ford Custom Garage FP700S Bronze Edition
How much horsepower does the FP700S make?
Ford Performance lists its 5.0-liter F-150 supercharger kit, part M-6066-F150SCA, at 700 hp at 6,500 rpm and 590 lb.-ft. of torque at 5,000 rpm. Ford says the kit was developed in partnership with Whipple. These are manufacturer-listed figures, not independent test results. Ford Performance 5.0L F-150 supercharger kit

Those claims are subject to Ford’s product-use and application conditions; check the current listing and the requirements for the specific truck before treating them as a blanket assurance of coverage or road legality.
Which F-150s does the installation documentation cover?
Ford Performance installation instructions identify Black kit M-F150-FPS5 and Bronze kit M-F150-FPS6 for 2024–2025 model-year F-150 4×2 Super Cab and 4×2 Crew Cab configurations. The instructions separately reference the 5.0-liter supercharger installation instructions. That fitment information is specific: it does not establish compatibility with every cab, drivetrain or F-150 model.

Is the FP700S a successor to the SVT Lightning?
Not on the evidence available. The defensible connection is one of character: both bring a supercharged performance identity to an F-150. The FP700S is documented as a Ford Performance package; that does not make it a factory SVT Lightning trim or establish a direct line of succession.

A Ford Muscle comparison discusses an earlier FP700 package, describing it as a post-title package and contrasting its rear lowering kit with the Lightning’s broader suspension changes. That is useful context for the difference between a package and a purpose-built performance truck, but it is a secondary comparison about FP700—not proof that every FP700S component or engineering detail is the same. There is also a naming distinction worth keeping clear: the modern electric F-150 Lightning is a separate vehicle from the historic F-150 SVT Lightning. Ford’s current Lightning page describes the electric truck; it does not establish the SVT model’s history. Ford F-150 Lightning

Why the old Lightning comparison still resonates
The FP700S brings together a supercharger, lowered stance and conspicuous styling on a modern F-150. That combination can evoke the idea of a factory performance pickup, even though the package’s provenance and configuration are different. The analogy works as a description of the impression the FP700S creates; it should not be mistaken for a claim that Ford has brought back the SVT name or recreated the historic truck.
