The standard Taycan Turbo GT is rated at 2.2 seconds. These are manufacturer claims, not the result of a uniform independent comparison of every dual-motor EV worldwide.
Which dual-motor EV was fastest by 0–60 mph acceleration?
Porsche’s March 2024 US announcement gives the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package a 0–60 mph time of 2.1 seconds with Launch Control; the standard Turbo GT is rated at 2.2 seconds under the same stated condition. Porsche identifies both as dual-motor, all-wheel-drive cars, with one motor on each axle. Porsche Newsroom and Porsche Australia provide the specifications and layout.

Porsche also lists a peak overboost figure of 1,019 hp for the Turbo GT models in its US announcement. That power figure does not by itself establish acceleration relative to other manufacturers’ cars; the stated 0–60 mph time is the relevant comparison here.
What does “fastest” mean?
Acceleration, top speed and circuit lap time answer different questions. The 2.1-second figure is a launch-assisted 0–60 mph claim. The 190 mph Weissach and 180 mph standard-car figures are Porsche’s top track speeds, not acceleration results. A lap record is tied to a particular circuit and conditions, so it cannot be treated as a straight-line speed ranking.

CarExpert reported these 2024-market specifications in 2023, attributing them to Lotus. The Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package is the strongest supported answer among the vehicles and figures covered here, specifically by claimed 0–60 mph acceleration with Launch Control. That does not prove it was the global winner among every 2024 dual-motor EV: the available figures do not form a comprehensive, independent, cross-market head-to-head ranking. Results can also depend on whether the comparison uses 0–60 mph, 0–100 km/h, top speed or a track lap, and whether the number is a manufacturer claim or an independent test.
